Dianxi Xiaoge Teaches Us How to Make Sweet and Spicy Noodles (At Home With DXXG - E3)

- Have you ever made noodles from scratch? It just takes flour, water, and a lot of patience.
We teamed up with Dianxi Xiaoge, a food influencer from China’s southwest, to make wheat noodles by hand. She paired them with a flavored-packed meat sauce made with minced pork, sweet peppers, and spicy chili peppers.
This video is part of a six-episode collaboration with Dianxi Xiaoge. With over 11 million followers worldwide, Dianxi Xiaoge is known for her cooking videos showcasing the traditional food of Yunnan Province. We went to live with her for a week and learned how to make her most iconic dishes.

As a westerner from England I love watching Dianxi foraging food from around her village, be it mushrooms, berries bamboo shoots, then watching her prepare and cook delicious food. Also teaching us about preserving food and storing them for coming months but also showing us how to dry and cure whole legs of ham and sausages, but knowing that they use every part of the animal with minimal waste if any, topped off with watching her beautiful dog Dewang playing around. Cant wait for the next episode. 💜🍜🥡🥘
Xiaoge is always so nice, but I loved how considerate Xiage was in involving Clarissa in the process by letting her do some of the work or taste the spices. Xiexie has such a good heart 😭❤️
When she retracted her "it's sweet, not spicy" statement just when ms. interviewer put a slice of chili in her mouth. Pure Yunnan gold.
*Her taste for spicy is on another level, if she said it's not spicy it actually bite your tongue, and if she said it is spicy then it means it'll burn your tongue* 😁😁
@CM.... When you trip with car for long journey...about 5 or 6 hour long...try spicy food,your tounge will not taste the hot of the chilli

They did this interview professionally unlike Liziqi’s interview. Liziqi’s interviewer was a bit Arrogant and was trying to put her Down but This time interviewer seems pretty polite.
Since discovering her channel couple months ago, I watch her videos daily... the scenery is peaceful and she’s very resourceful. Dawang, her dog is adorable.
This is a better interviewer who truly listens unlike the unethical one who interviewed Li Ziqi

when there is a warm interaction between the interviewer and interviewee, it makes the production superb ... plus the additional information thrown in.

I really enjoy her content. The meals she can make with one cleaver makes me a lot less snobby about wanting several knifes for several jobs. 1 or 2 good knifes are all you need for cooking. I also hope her sprain heals soon. Last year, I sprained my pointer finger at work and had to keep doing the things that caused the sprain. I think sleeping with a splint helped it heal faster since I couldn't wear one thoughout the day

How amazing these two girls are! They come from different backgrounds yet can learn so much from each other and talk to each other in a normal way. Lords knows how tired I am of loaded language in news these days. Just two beautiful girls talking and sharing their knowledge and life. GOLD.
It also helps that Dianxi is very enthusiastic and Clarissa is avidly listening to her.

Dianxi lives the most charmed beautiful life. Her family, village and Dawang are amazing.
I know though that she is a super woman in so many ways, and is made of sheer strength to be able to do the things she does every single day. Absolutely admire her.

I really love these videos... but the timing of them scares me. DX and her village have been able to stay hidden from Covd in their rural home, they are very isolated. I hope that the camera crew is able to 100% assure that they are all healthy and completely unexposed to the illness.

The best part of the story of Dianxi is everything about the knife. Wow amazing. Everything she do just used the knife. No blender, no electricity to use.

Ive been watching her for a while now and I just how relaxed and happy her family looks! She's so humble too!
I don't remember where I read it, while Europeans, and Japanese cooks used multiple knives and cleavers to do their jobs, Chinese cooks usually only have one cleaver, that one cleaver is used for everything, from cutting meat, and bones, to chopping vegetables, and skinning fishes.
This is definitely true, at least in my Chinese household. I use them for cutting EVERYTHING haha, and I thought this only applies to me personally lol.

Xiaoge shouldn't be working with a sprained wrist. You need to let it rest. Sometimes when things don't heal, the pain can set in for years. I really hope she feels better soon and I loved when she said the peppers were not spicy but sweet 😂 I always wonder the same! How do they eat such spicy food!? Great watching her
