Oh Yeah!
Well done!
I don't care if you think about Michael Keaton in the Flash, he's still my favorite movie Batman! Thank you, Tim Burton!
A streaming service should green lite Burton's last Batman movie!
Joker: "And... here... we... go!"
TIMMY: TIMMMAYY!!
Y..so..serious
@@johnathanshiggs7083bruh, why ? Y, instead of why is crazy

The Dark Knight Trilogy is definitely my favorite live action Batman movies. They represent who Batman really is in a more realistic world. The Dark Knight is also my favorite movie of all time.
Batman 1989 is a miracle film. To have a young, un incoming director in Tim Burton given the chance to have his own personal take on this world. To having Micheal Keaton cast and having fans petition his removal from the role. So many things up in the air for this film NOT working. But when you have a hungry director with a vision, an actor who is now seen as giving the definitive take on the character to Danny Elfman’s timeless score….that movie was THE crescendo of the 1980’s in stunning fashion.
4:36 that's Danny Elfman, not Tim Burton
I thought the same thing lmao
It's been a month and seems like they won't bother to correct that.
Batman Across the Batverse
In another world Ben Affleck would have been in The Batman and he would have went against Colin Farrell's penguin and it would be the Daredevil reunion we never aaked for.
Batman Returns is my all time favourite Batman movie due to it being on repeats on tv so much when I was kid. Michael Keaton is the GOAT for live action Batman's.
I never understood why characters like Robin and Batgirl were never adapted in those movies
My favorite live-adaptation of Batman is The Dark Knight trilogy, because that is what I grew up with and enjoyed.
And thats what got Batman back on top after that terrible 1997 Batman and Robin movie
I rewatched it recently, and it’s still as impressive and poignant as ever.
What would have happened if that trilogy started the DCEU? How do you think Christian Bale as Batman would be like with other members of the Justice League?
Same
As an early 2000s kid, I LOVED Batman Forever and Batman & Robin. Literally watched them all the time but as I got older I realized they're terrible films like Arris said lmao
Thay weetr made in a defrent time the way thay make films is difrent now
The dark Knight rises was one of my favorite Batman movies ever! Perfect ending and he has a great redemption. Plus the battle for Gotham at the end was so cool!
My favorite quotes from earth Ledger come from the hospital scene and the burning money scene, I use them all the time:
“Do I really look like a guy with a plan?”
“I just do… things”
“I just did what I do best, I took your little plans and I turned them on themselves”
“This city deserves a better class of criminal, and I’m gonna give it to them”
“It’s not about the money…it’s about sending a message”
Batman 89 and Batman Returns are one of the best classic movies. I own both of them along with Batman Forever and Batman and Robin.
The Batman movies(live action) that I love, I own. Batman(89), Batman Returns, The Dark Knight Trilogy and The Batman.
The Batman 2022 is what captured everything that was missing in the others.
4:39 That’s Danny Elfman not Tim Burton 😅
Facts.
You beat me to it.
@@variant Robert Swenson passed away shortly after Batman & Robin. When he wrestled he fought Bruiser Brody at Texas Stadium
I think the theme from The Batman and Robin Adventures, which was also the theme for Mask of The Phantasm, is the best Batman theme ever over 89
Favorite Batman Films Ranked:
1. Mask Of The Phantasm
2. The Batman (Vulnerable and Gothic)
3. The Dark Knight (Crime Drama Epic)
4. Batman ‘89 (Visual Marvel)
5. Batman Begins (Perfect Origin)
6. Batman The Movie ‘66 (Personal Fav)
7. The Dark Knight Rises
8. Batman Returns
9. Batman Forever
10. The Lego Batman Movie
Batman Portrayals:
1. Kevin Conroy
2. Robert Pattinson
3. Michael Keaton
4. Christian Bale
5. Adam West
6. Val Kilmer
7. Ben Affleck
8. George Clooney
My favorite Batman as a child and growing up in the 90s was always Keaton’s Batman obviously but from BvS to this very day, BatFleck is just my favorite Batman ever! Even without his solo Batman films(which sucks so hard) his journey from BvS to ZSJL and even his lil cameos in SS and Flash are all amazing. A tired older broken Batman with 20 years of pain and rage building to the first alien in action breaking him and what his code use to be is such a great new way to show his character. Broken and unrecognizable but still visually stunning and intimidating. Him killing never bothered me because unlike OTHER Batmen in the past, this time there was a story behind it. A purpose. He was meant to be the villian and we weren’t supposed to like him. That was the point. Then his journey post Supermans death in ZSJL was just amazingly told and showcased. It was beautiful.
To go from, “We’re criminals Alfred, we’ve always been” to “Faith Alfred….Faith!” 😢😢😢❤❤❤❤
At 15:00 pause and admire how Nolan put the seats in such a way that it looks like someone laughing, a nod to the Joker.
What a masterpiece.
>Mentions Tim Burton
>Shows Danny Elfman
Yeah that checks out
Love your work!
Batman greatness
Batman 1989 is my favorite
Val Kilmer is a seriously underrated Batman. I won't lie, Batman Forever is up there in my top 5 favorite Batman films. Number 1 will always Mask of the Phantasm.
I’m old school before old school, meaning I am more invested in Batman with the psychology built upon the foundation of his drive to make himself as-much-as-possible physically equal to the big task, in that he “Trains his body to PHYSICAL PERFECTION.” (Batman #1) Of course that’s rooted in my own experience as a gym rat, knowing firsthand how much drive that demand and the psychological underpinnings. Hence, I can’t reconcile with Keaton as Batman. With Bale, Affleck, and Pattinson - I get the full feel of the combined physical and psychological. So depending on my mood, each of them take turns as my favorite.
Batfelck warehouse fight will alway be the best live action batman fight
Agreed.
I mean it is now but later down the line it could be easily surpassed
Nope
12 when 89 came out. It was HUGE!!!
I hope for an animated/gaming rundown of Batman. All Kevin Conroy.
The Batman is the best live action movie.
Great job
I literally just realized you forgot the short cinematic run of Batman: Mask of the Phantasm. That movie is GOATED.
Can you do history of Alfred Pennyworth, Batwing, Flame Bird, Batwoman, Azrael, Signal(Duke Thomas), Bluebird, Stephanie Brown and Carrie Kelly?
I think a history on shows that added batman without adding batman like how shows like Gotham knights and titans did it I bet lots of shows have done stuff like that or even just super heros in general
Awesome
Batfleck was perfect
“Some days you can’t get rid of a bomb” line was brilliant! It’s definitely one of my top 5 favourite lines of Batman 😂
Ooooo, let's go!!
In between the time of Batman & Robin & Batman Begins, there were so many 💡 like Unchained which would’ve had Scarecrow played by Nic Cage as the main 🦹♂️ & George Clooney, Chris O’Donnell, & Alicia Silverstone reprising their roles but there were also other💡like Batman: DarKnight based off of Dark Knight Returns, Chris O’Donnell spin-off, Batman 🆚 Superman starring Christian Bale, Batman Beyond, Batman: Year 1️⃣ starring Christian Bale, & Justice League: Mortal starring Armie Hammer
Die Hard and Batman Returns are two Christmas movies i watch every year at Christmas. Along with BTAS Christmas with the Joker.
So much nostalgia for me talking about the toys from Kay-bee & Toys R Us Batman toys
Shout out to KB TOYS. So many hours and good times spent in there
Keep the Batman vids coming!
"why do we fall? so that we can learn to pick ourselves up."
I love this channel.
Affleck was the my favorite best Bruce Wayne/ Batman combo. Some of the actors were a good or great Batman, but not sold on his alter ego status much.
I was born in the 2003 and my first batman and joker we're keaton's batman and jack Nicholson's joker instead of christian bale's and heath Ledger's and i love both of them
R.I.P. Adam West
For me it's been a tie between the Tim Burton movies and the Dark Knight trilogy as the best live-action Batman movies. The Adam West movie has been a longtime favorite of mine too, for being the exact opposite of most modern versions. Batman Forever was the first one I ever saw, so it's certainly nostalgic to me even if it's far from the best one (though at least it's still better than Batman & Robin). And yeah, Danny Elfman's theme music is the definitive Batman theme for me too.
I too was certainly glad to see Michael Keaton's return in the Flash movie. Even though the movie itself was a mess, he really was the highlight of it. Would've liked to have seen the Batgirl movie too just to see Keaton's Batman once more. Really hope they do make a Batman Beyond movie with him, even with all the DC movie universe shake-ups going on now. Maybe if the Beetlejuice sequel is a big hit, then WB will take advantage of it by making Batman Beyond with both Keaton and Tim Burton.
I believe when the dark knight rises was in development, the original main villain was going to be the riddler and he was going to be played by either David Tennant or Johnny Depp
Once again Arris, you & I both being huge Batman fans are in agreement.
Michael Keaton is the best Batman.
Batman 1989 is iconic & the one that started it all thanks to Tim Burton.
Michelle Pfeiffer was arguably the best Catwoman.
Batman & Robin was really bad b/c of Joel Schumacher wanting to bring back the campy look of the 60's Batman. George Clooney was a good Batman.
Batman having his own credit card was pretty bada$$!
Batman the Dark Knight is the best Batman movie.
Heath Ledger is the best Joker 💯
Anne Hathaway does deserve credit for her role as Catwoman.
Ben Affleck is Batman, the Dark Knight Returns & gave us the best fight scene. The best Batman second to Michael Keaton.
Justice League the Snyder Cut is the best of the DCEU.
The Flash was good but made better b/c of Michael Keaton Batman.
Robert Pattinson delivered as The Batman. It was good.
Zoe Kravitz was good as Catwoman second to Michelle Pfeiffer.
Long Live the Bat ⚫⚫⚫
Nice 👏
Beautiful video :) Please, make the same video but for Batman in animation, & to this day, Mask of the phanatasm movie, is still 1 of the best Batman movies & stories ever told :)
In Arris (sorry if spelled wrong) comment to the batman film with Batenson I 100% agree. I think we were shown batman more as a brawler than both that and a detective. So when it came to this film "we" we're expecting alot of action but were told it was more of a detective noir film, but still a good film and portrayal
I don't care how you stress the first 2 are serials, their context and impact are worthy the mention
Batman is one of my favorite superheroes alongside Spider-Man! I really love The Batman and Michael Giacchino’s Score and I am so excited for The Batman Part II (And I can’t believe it’s delayed until October 2026). I even liked the Michael Keaton Batman Movies including ‘89 and Returns and Christian Bale Batman Movies, mostly The Dark Knight. The best Batman Collectibles I would get for the rest of my life are the DC McFarlane Toys based on my personal preferences like the Batman: Hush Blue & Grey Variant and Batman: Knightfall Toy. I would also get the best Batman Comic Storylines including The Long Halloween, Hush, Year One, Dark Victory, and Knightfall.
Even with limitations in story. Batfleck is the best batman. Don't @me.
His solo movie would have been sick.
Very cool idea for a video
Thanks!
The Dark Knight trilogy is easily my best live action batman series of films. My best batman fight scene is of course the warehouse scene in bvs.
Can you do history of the villains of the Stargirl TV show like Mr_Bones, Dragon king, Brainwave and Icicle? When are you going to do history of the Flash Villains Mirror Master and Top since the second half of season 6 of the Flash has finished?
Can you do history of the Atom, Major_Force, Captain Atom, Plastique, the Blackhawks, Rocket Red Brigade, Maxima, El-Dorado, Element Woman, Metamorpho, Mr Terrific and Plastic Man along with the history of the Villains Dr Alchemy and Abracadabra?
Pattison did it, he's the best live action batman, or at least the most realistic
No he's not imagine a batman who never once bled took a bomb in the face and is still okay not even in pain and you call that realistic
@@Tom-yc8cb imagine a batman that goes out to fight crime in a rubber suit, being able to move your head is important in a fight
@@kaioken654 Affleck suit wasn't rubber 😅😅😅
@@Tom-yc8cb yeah it is, big ol rubber cowl
@@kaioken654 you do know pattison cowl is also rubber
How have you not done a top 10 Batman sidekick or team ups(not in the bat family)
Keaton- did good but killed
Kilmer- arguably looked best but bad material
Clooney- mix bag but similiar to Val
Bale- arguably best Bruce but killed & bad fighting
Ben- Brutal Killer but could be best looking Bats/Bruce
Patts- Great Batman, Bruce will continue to evolve.
The Dark Knight is the greatest superhero movie of all time
Facts.
And also the highest rated Batman movie of all time
What all made this the best Batman movie compared to all the others?
Fully agree
No.
Since you did the origin of Sonic the Hedgehog characters Tails and Knuckles in your previous video, when are you going to do history of Sonic the Hedgehog himself?
When are you going to do history of JSA member Cyclone along with DC Sabbac since he's the main Villain of the Black_Adam movie?
When are you going to do history of Marvel's Sandman and Kurt Conners the Lizard since they made a live action comeback in Spider-Man No Way Home along with the Elementals who were mentioned in Spider-Man Far From Home?
Batman returns definitely my fav also
Im at 4:37. Isnt that Danny Elfman????? The dude who made the infamous theme?
Batman Begin is My Favorite.
Joe Manganiello would’ve been Deathstroke in the Batfleck solo movie
Pattinson auditioned in Kilmer’s costume while his time filming Tenet directed by Christopher Nolan
85th anniversary of batman
Since you did the history of Conrad Carapax, Are you going to do history of OMAC, Overthrow, Dr Polaris, Posse and the Brotherhood of Evil who are all Blue_Beetle villains without a Scarab?
Can you please do origin of DC the Reach who are the aliens who created the Scarab of the Blue_Beetle since no one else has done an origin video of them?
Since you did the comic book origin Dan Garett, Ted Kord and Jamie Reyes the Blue Beetle, can you do comic book origin of DC Black_Beetle, Red Beetle, Green Beetle, Yellow Beetle and the Silver_Scarab?
Haven’t been this early in a while but I love Batman forever and Batman and robin
Arris quoting Heath Ledger's Joker atleast once a week is something I can relate to 😅
Still waiting on a video for things that are part of a character's comic book persona but didn't originate in comics
Heath Ledger won an Oscar for the Dark Knight and the film would have been nominated for Best Picture if they had up to 10 nominees. They later added more nominees spots after that year
Battinson was not walking slow, he was cautious more than anything.
I hope we see a Batman film where Scarecrow is the main villian and portrayed much more comic book accurate.
I knew Batman(89) was going to be a monster of a movie when my GF at the time, who was not a comic person, told me she wanted to go see it, about a week before it was released. I'd like to throw out an idea. No matter who the actor is that portrays Alfred, he's awesome. I think it's because Alfred is such a great character. It can be a garbage Batman movie, but Alfred still shines
you know that's Danny Elfman, not Burton at 4:35 right? lol
I will always remember Eartha Kitt as Catwoman. 🙏🏾🙏🏾🕊️🕊️
It's an interesting and beautiful movie
do a episode of Cinematic History of superman
Leo DiCaprio was supposed to be The Riddler in Dark Knight Rises after not being to have 🃏 cause of Heath Ledger before they chose Tom Hardy as Bane
Before Batman ♾️, it was supposed to be Batman Continues supposed to have Michael Keaton reprise his role as Batman with Robin Williams as The Riddler & Billy Dee Williams becoming Two-Face after ⏭️ Batman Returns along with having Brad Dourif as the Scarecrow & Marlon Wayans as Robin but after the upset reviews of Returns from McD & parents, WB fired Tim Burton & Keaton left the franchise & ♾️ was made in its place with the current cast of that movie & Billy Dee made a cameo finally becoming Two-Face in the Lego Batman Movie & Keaton reprising Batman in The Flash
Woooooooooow I didn't know about this movie/serial in 1943
I feel like I agree with all of your takes Arris. I especially love Batflecks suit and his wearhouse fight scene too. I also think The Batman is overrated. I know that's a hot take. Hopefully The Batman II is better though.
Any update on when the podcast will be back?
We will have a show next week.

You maybe right lol they say merry Christmas more in Batman returns than in die hard😂😂
13:17 when I heard Heath and JGL were cast, I thought that they were going to be helping each other out/they were both joker. Ever since 10 things I hate about you, I thought they were brothers(the look alike)
I grew up with the Nolan trilogy so that’s my favorite personally. Then Batman 89 and Battinson.
Which actor do you think should play Batman in James Gunn DC projects in the DCU? I think it should be someone like Jensen Ackles, Michael Fassbender, Brett Dalton or Oliver Jackson Cohen
There are many Superman films as well
I really wish they made a trilogy for tim burton batman, especially to see that batmobile one mor time in action. Also, 89 batman suit > batman returns suit in my opinion

I even think Danny DeVito could come back as the penguin not just for dan base or a cash grab he is just an amazing actor I'm a big always sunny in Philadelphia fan and the stuff he does in that he still has it yeah he's older but he could definitely do the penguin again
