hey guyssss!! welcome back!! i know it's been a while, but i'm so glad you're here!
the start of this year was sooooo rough for me. really big behaviors from my new set of kids, i started my masters, i felt so overhwhelmed in so many areas of my life. i literally felt like throwing in the towel! real talk
but, i'm happy to say that things are going sooo much better for me right now in the classroom! yes, there are still challenges, but i see so much growth in myself and my students.

Hi Courtney. I hope you see this. So proud of you. Your classroom and demeanor are both beautiful. I'm wondering where/how you got the rainbow imagery that's visible in the one supply case (hopefully you'll know what I mean). It's the case where each drawer has a pic and together it forms a rainbow. Love it!

I love touch math!!! I still use it. I taught it to my son also who wasn’t taught in school about it and it helped him so much!! Your classroom is adorable. What lucky students to have you ❤

I love your classroom and how you have your spaces set up but.. I do wish there was more focus on your calming corner.
I noticed it was a small area with a pop it and the little container with a few items. Do you have other items to help with emotional regulation? Flip books with emotion photos for example - other sensory based items that focus on needs beyond touch.
I also noticed the SEL section in your file cabinet is quit small - do you focus on SEL minimally?
