    Jade is one of the hardest, most dense materials used in carving and jewelry. That’s why it’s so prized -it doesn’t crack or break easily.

      you know it might’ve shipped yesterday they finally took the money out of my account but the shipping for the sauce shouldn’t be so much and is definitely worth it

    Just beautiful. Nice set-up,,,, any chance you know where to find a used rotary tumbler?

    • @lapidarydave
      @lapidarydave  Год назад +1

      I don’t know about used ones best place to look would probably be Facebook marketplace. The online market outside of marketplace and craigslist is kind of over priced because of how popular it is but also harbor freight sells single and duel barrel, tumblers, cheaper than anyone else in the industry is a harbor freight in Española

    try tumbling the egg 1st, removes much of the loose material and may give a better idea on the cut. I use old agate/jasper etc small pieces to grind down the egg

      stones break all the time my friend it’s knowing the stone before cutting that is where the experience comes in handy i always buy a few kilos of a material before buying in bulk just to test a material this blade is very good buy if the stone is not good then even a hood saw will not work

    Hey Dave how long is the 303 blade lasting using this trim saw? I tried one with my highland park PT 8" trim saw with just water and it eat it up guickly. Im really steering towards this set up and going to Dimond pacific.
    Thanks.

      Good question I think it’s subjective to what stones are being cut in the way they’re being cut. I have one on my side right now and it’s been lasting me about 4 1/2 months so far.
