Great video, i love the drop saw. I have been thinking about getting into cutting and polishing my own stones for my personal collection. One thing I haven't been able to find is where to purchase the raw rocks. Where or what should I be searching for to find raw material? I sincerely thank you for your time. That fluorite slab was beautiful.

Question..do you Dress your blades often with the Drop Saw? I have one H.P. and it just has a hard time with the larger Agates & Jaspers..Great videos!

I would agree with you on that a twelve inch saw will suffice for the majority of what people will need it for. My favorite is a 16” saw.

I’ve got one of those Lortone 12” saws. Mine is gold in color though.

Doesn’t the oil spray out of the open side of the ten inch saw running the 12” blade.

The drop saw is an old Lortone. I have one that is slightly newer. It's blue and the belt is enclosed. I love it!
