Pray for the next election of a holy supreme pontiff who will restore the glory of the Catholic Faith. For this intention, we can use the Collect prayer for the Election of the Supreme Pontiff which states: O Lord, with suppliant humility, we entreat Thee, that in Thy boundless mercy Thou wouldst grant the most Holy Roman Church a pontiff, who by his zeal for us, may be pleasing to Thee, and by his good government may be ever honored by Thy people for the glory of Thy name. Through Our Lord Jesus Christ, Thy Son Who with Thee livest and reignest world without end. Amen
I wasn’t aware James Earl Jones was Catholic. In my younger years, I saw many of his movies and have been several times in the old Cort Theatre, now named for James Earl Jones. I was born and raised in New York. (City)
Hilarious! It just dawned on me that to call Peter a "scandal" (i.e. a "stumbling block"), in such instance, reiterates that Peter is the rock in reference. A beautiful play on words. Absolutely masterful. Alleluia! Hail to the King!
@TboneWTF "Imagine for a moment a very intricate system of water pipes, through which the water ultimately flows into our house. The water that reaches our house comes from a pape, and gets to that pipe from another pipe, and to that pipe from another, and so on in a complexity of water pipes as dizzying as you care to imagine. Every pipe contains water, and can pass on water to the next pipe; but no pipe originates the water: it has to receive it. The problem then is to account for the water. If you ask where any particular pipe gets its water, you can always point to the pipe before it in the system. But how do you account for any water at all being in that system of pipes? Merely adding to the number of pipes will not explain the water, because, as no pipe produces water, no number of pipes however great will produce water. even if you multiplied the pipes, as the mathematicians say, to infinity, you still have not accounted for the presence of water in the pipes, Not even an infinite number if pipes. none of which produce water, can account for the existence of water. What follows from all this is that somewhere or other the pipes must be in contact with a spring, that is, with something which is a source of water and not a receiver. Transfer this notion from pipes which contain water but do not originate it, to beings which have existence but do not originate it. The water must flow to the pipes from something which is itself a source of water and not a receiver; similarly no being will have existence unless there is some being which is a source of existence and not a receiver. *The conclusion.* This source of existence we call God. Because he is the source if existence, He must contain Himself the highest perfections of existence. Therefore He must contain the power to know, the power to will, since these things are part of existence and their source is in Him. He is therefore _personal_ ." _Toward the Eternal Commencement, Our Quest for Happiness series,_ Book 4 (Mentzer, Bush, and Co., 1958), 482-483. Belief in God is logical and reasonable. It doesn't matter whether you or I believe in Him, because that doesn't alter the fact that He *must* exist.
Let me put it to you in more simple terms: Do we live in a perfect world? No. Does perfection exist in our imperfect world? Yes. Does man ponder perfection? Yes. Is man perfect? No. How then is it that an imperfect being manifest thoughts grander than itself?
Furthermore, why do you think God is spelled ‘god?’ Unless you sincerely are asking about gods themselves? Well the answer to that is another question: What are gods? Something that will exist forever. What is God? Something (and that thing being Someone) that has forever existed, exists, and forever will exist. Jesus Christ claimed to be said God and emphasize a Psalm: “ Don’t you know you are gods…”
I do not really understand this Hallowe'en. It was never a time for dressing up in strange costumes when I was a child. In my little remote village here in England, it was just All Hallows Eve as a prelude to All Saints. Interesting in a Protestant country. You see, in remote places there were still leftovers from before Catholics were suppressed.
Matthew 22: 36 Master, which is the greatest commandment in the law? 37 Jesus said to him: Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with thy whole heart, and with thy whole soul, and with thy whole mind. 38 This is the greatest and the first commandment. 39 And the second is like to this: Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 40 On these two commandments dependeth the whole law and the prophets.

One third of the angels became demons. Maybe one third of the human souls will be saved? A replacement of sorts? Aren’t there levels of suffering in Hell as there are levels of glory in Heaven?
This guy misses the point. God did not make us all the same. We understand differently, have different emotions, and react differently. Why would you assume we cannot pray differently. Any prayer that gets you closer to God is the prayer to be said at that time.
Are we talking like 5% of people are saved? More/less? I’m sorry, but that affects my ability to love God If it’s not like well over 10% like I’m sorry but he is kind of a hateful tyrant/horrible creator/designer Good for those 10% of people I guess But man what a hateful/sad state for the rest of us
I have a question: how do you know that "souls" actually exist? Also, if they are real where are they located on/in the human body. I ask because in anatomy class the subject of "souls" was never mentioned. Thank you.
@@AS-yz2iz " It's spiritual. And the souls inhabit the entire body." Thanks, but is there a way to prove what you said? Do you have any credible evidence to support your claim? Thank again.
@@TboneWTF "it is enough to say that the whole soul is in each part of the body, by totality of perfection and of essence, but not by totality of power. For it is not in each part of the body, with regard to each of its powers; but with regard to sight, it is in the eye; and with regard to hearing, it is in the ear; and so forth. We must observe, however, that since the soul requires variety of parts, its relation to the whole is not the same as its relation to the parts; for to the whole it is compared primarily and essentially, as to its proper and proportionate perfectible; but to the parts, secondarily, inasmuch as they are ordained to the whole." @@danielsaenz5570With out the soul we are not alive. A dead body is just a dead piece of flesh. Without the soul the body begins to rot. Also God and the angels are pure spirits and you can’t see them. But they are as real as can be. In a way the human soul is like that.
@@danielsaenz5570 ""it is enough to say that the whole soul is in each part of the body,..." So you actually have no credible evidence, correct? Your long winded comment did nothing to address citing any actual evidence. Unless I missed something? Thanks.

Thank you, Father Jenkins, and Thomas.
Our Lady Seat of Wisdom, pray for us 🙏
Congratulations Fr. Jenkis! I'll keep praying for you from the once Catholic England
Please remember me in your novenas and prayers as I pray for your intentions.
Allan.
Congratulations and blessings, Fr. Jenkins! 😇
Jones became Catholic and starred in a movie as a priest who wanted to help a young girl choose life. I saw that on a lifesite clip today. ❤❤❤
Congratulations Fr. Jenkins!!! May God bless you always, abundantly! We pray for you every day.
Blessings and graces for Father Jenkins.
My friend and I just started the 54 day Rosary Novena for our country and the Jan. 6 Catholics unjustly imprisoned.
