  • This is a mental imagery training track tailored to enhance your hockey mental performance.
Utilizing the BALL Method, this audio guides you through a focused sequence designed to elevate your mental game: control your breathing, anchor yourself with positive affirmations, revisit your past successes through visualization (like a highlight tape), and envision your future performance.
The BALL Method is an acronym that stands for:
Breathing: Control your breath to manage stress and maintain focus.
Affirmations: Use positive statements to boost your confidence on the ice.
Look Backward: Reflect on your past successes to reinforce your abilities.
Look Forward: Visualize future successes to mentally prepare for games and practices.
This is the same mental imagery audio that many top professional hockey players listen to daily, making it a critical component of their mental training regimen.

    Brian,
I am a 72 yr old retired psychologist, and have written extensively on sport psychology, mostly for competitive fishermen.
I'm also a hockey player, and have struggled to transfer what I know about performance psychology to the fast-paced atmosphere on the ice. This clip is AWESOME. I've 3 days to practice this before my next game. I can't wait. I KNOW this will work. I can already see the results in my mind.
    I can't thank you enough.
    Sincerely,
    Jay T McNamara, PhD
