200bhp from a 2.0 naturally aspirated Zetec, especially a road tractable one with unmapped management and carbs is unheard of. 20 years ago I built a series of 2.0 Zetecs with Dunnell cams and valvetrain, Emerald management, hours on the dyno and a lot more besides. They didn't come close to 200.

FWIW I had a 2.8i gearbox in one of my old Fords, I shortened the input shaft and used a standard pinto bell housing. I think the slow synchro in 2nd was cured by using ATF in the gearbox. Certainly I do remember the synchro in 2nd was bad when the gearbox was cold...
Yes Iv heard that people normally just cut the input shaft down but i think its quite clever to use a spacer between the gbox and bellhousing instead. 👍
@@marcushayesford, you would be disgusted how mine was done, without even dismantling the gearbox. Worked fine and was never any trouble. It was a long time ago, fortunately the Capri box did not cost anything....
That van engine would be nice if take it out and upgrade it for a escort
