I had a 2014 roush raptor. You can update the sync 2 system to sync 3 so it makes it a little better. Fuse 27 was an issue if not taken care of also. I love mine.
Biggest mistake for Ford to get rid of the V8 for the Raptor

The 3.5 is a good motor but the Raptor should always have a V8 option, 5.0 at least.
exactly. I like the raptor but its just weird that it has a V6. I love 6 cylinders except in trucks. Plus the TRX walks on it all day and ford hasn't released an answer.

The Gen 1 has a 6.2L. This one in particular has a supercharger.
I would get this Raptor above the Gen2 or Gen3. I always liked this look better on the Raptor. The Roush Supercharger's just the added bonus.

1st gens are the best. No turbo 6 crap. Put a long travel kit on it and a procharger..Epic goodness!
A 6.2L V8... The new Raptor should have at least a 5.0.

This is my ultimate dream truck. The Gen1 raptor the 6.2 liter V8 Ford SVT Raptor is the best truck not only it’s a v8 it’s like the trx Buh without the supercharger. I feel like Ford has been the king for the V8 trucks in the past Buh this truck has potential to destroy the TRX. Ford made huge mistake for stopping to make V8 raptors because Ford no longer has their placement for the best performance truck in the market as of right now…

Curious on your thoughts gen 1 vs gen 3? I currently have a Gen 3 but have been thinking about selling and getting into a Gen 1. Hard to give up the tech of a new raptor but wanted to know your opinion
Turning the key is like a button, you don't have to hold it to start

@@alb12345672 I too have brown leather interior and I always get a LOT of complement’s on how beautiful it is.
After 33 years people are getting sick and tired of Gloomy Grey or Death Black interior colors.

@@Doc1855 I agree. The black and grey are gloomy. There was a "lariat limited" in 2011, came with the 6.2L, was black and gray leather :lol:
