FWC warns of bear sightings in Tampa Bay area

- A young black bear was spotted outside Bay Crest Elementary school in Tampa Tuesday morning. The sighting is believed to be connected to the dozen or so other sightings over the past few weeks in the Carrollwood area.

This happened earlier this month in Orlando with a bear that was lost. I really don't want to say it was lost cause they are destroying their natural habitat. The bear end Orlando was eventually hit and killed by a driver.
In Tampa he could become "Cocaine Bear."

as a resident of the area im tired of our offcials playing games just capture or slay the damn thing and if returning it to its home is such a big concern you can quickly speed up the process of that by capturing it and releasing it where it should be there is no excuse to let this bear roam where ever it wants hoping it mauls some people
