7:22 but on the 6th there is an expo. I don't know the stadium but I think concert on one day (probably in the evening), disassembling the stage and setting up an expo on the for the next day wouldn't work in the short time span. But who knows, I'm looking forward to whatever it is
@@_fremdkoerper : I worked some years as local stagehand and this is absolutely possible. A show is torn down in 3-4 hours and to setup an expo, you need 5-6, so worst case, show ends at 11pm and the expo can open 9am

I think it actually IS a "hybrid" in the sense that it'll be Chester coming back via AI and that perhaps he is in on it and gave permission to do this kind of project once AI got there? It would ensure his message continued to reach and help millions and perhaps even make him now untouchable in his fight against corruption and exposing it.

Gonna take this a step further: i think LP is doing this concert, coming back, and announcing that each song on their next album will feature different vocalists. And when they tour they'll be doing guest vocals for everything. Mike spent several months touring the world just jamming with musicians he liked, and I think he was testing to see if he could put together a roster of different singers.
LP was always experimental and I think they want to lean into it super hard now.
Kind of in the same vain as Chester's tribute show. That's an interesting thought

Honestly, I think this would be a far better way to respect Chester's legacy than the AI bs they pulled with the first lost song. Having guest vocalists that the band members, including Chester, are or were huge fans of seems like the best way to send the band off, or at least to turn a new page on.

Chester said in an interview that the name Minutes To Midnight was inspired by a doomsday clock that moves "back and forth" and how the concept of midnight could be the "end of all time" or a "new beginning for the band"
Kinda hoping this is something not related to MTM. Would still be cool, but I think most of us are expecting them to reveal the new singer and the tour dates
@@XG-OFFICIAL-59 I think they put this clock as a homage to MTM because the inspiration came from a doomsday clock that symbolized a new beginning, which back in the day was MTM but now it's the band possibly starting over again

@@PowerKarp i was really disappointed after Minutes to Midnight. I once heard them saying they wanted to "evolve" and become more "mature" in their content, but it definitely led me to not follow what came next. Cause you can evolve and still keep your style, people would still recognize you. This is around that time that I discovered the band Seether, and they totally represent what i had in mind since : they evolve, gain maturity but they are still very recognizable. They didn't went from nu-metal to electro.
Guess we all wanted to hear that after their third album, but I fear that we will get another soft-pop-space-rock-indie stuff from Shinoda 😅
Hunting party was a great album, thousand suns was an interesting experience, minutes to midnight was meh, the first two were amazing. Love the band, not the Eras.
Cause once you got the theory of how the thing works everybody wants the next thing to be just like the first.

Tyler Joseph is in insanely talented musician, not just a vocalist. If anyone in here likes twenty øne piløts, I recommend watching their MTV Unplugged show. Also after a Google apparently Chester was a big tøp fan and there are videos of him covering some of their songs. This could be huge bro.

2. People hating on TOP need to remember what the last LP album sounded like and the direction Mike's music went in the last couple of years because the truth is if LP ever release a new album, it might sound a lot like TOP.

I really don't think they can pull this off. It's too much too soon. The sound was so unique that there isn't anything else you can do with it. Pantera replacing a drummer and guitarist was one thing, but replacing a vocalist is a completely different ballgame...

Would be absolutely crazy! I recently just saw an old video of Chester covering a Tøp-song and now the possibility of a LP-Tøp show... would be insane!
Another reason I'm on board with that theory is that Twenty One Pilots also always spreads around codes, messages and riddles to announce an upcoming album, song or show etc... so Linkin Park doing it in a kinda similar way (also the "ø" and the dates fitting with Tøp's World-Tour) just can't be a coincidence in my opinion.

A lot of bands and artists have been releasing new recordings of old songs lately (and sometimes covers of their songs by other bands) after the success of the Taylor’s Version albums, so seeing the leaked screenshot of the TOP song pre-order and how the artist is credited as both Linkin Park & TOP, I think that the announcement is going to be something similar to another Reanimation album

Countdown timer was clearly a teaser marketing ploy, and the old rumour was that a female vocalist would sing with Linkin Park in '25. In terms of marketing, this week is now a bad week for announcing a reunion tour after Oasis, meaning the announcement will possibly come when the Oasis excitement has calmed down in the media.
Honestly I don't think Linkin park give a shit about oasis. Two completely different bands, genres, fanbases etc etc. The majority of places covering any linkin park announcement are gonna predominantly be rock and metal orientated and wouldn't care about Oasis and vice versa.
No one cares about oasis. Those demographics hardly cross.

But it's 2024. Albums sales are a lot smaller now across music. So you look at Spotify and linkin park are at 40.6 million monthly listeners. Nearly double what oasis have at 24. In the end even has about 90 million more streams than wondewall and both are over 2 billion .
So how do you figure out whose bigger which seems to be the approach you're going with.
More album sales or more streams?
Instagram? LP have double the fans. Twitter LP has 4 million more.

Linkin Park has been my favorite band since the day Hybrid Theory came out. When I was 11 I was walking around in FYE at the mall while my mom was checking out shoes and “Runaway” came on and I was hooked it was something so different and relatable.
I bring this up because like thousands of other people around the world I have waited the last 4 days to see what’s going on with my favorite band and if they were going to be getting a new singer or doing festivals and having other people at said festival fill in like in their farewell concert for Chester and I was just so excited and then I felt like I was Super Saiyan 3 Dragon Fist punched in the kidney’s and nuts when nothing happened it actually hurt.
I know Linkin Park is known for pulling stunts like this off for albums but this was different. This was the first major announcement since Chester passed away.
Not in a million years did I think they would pull a stunt like this after what not only the band has been through but what is fans have been through as well. When Chester passed I (like many others) went to a dark place in my head. This was a hero that helped my out of being suicidal and we lost him to just that. It got dark.
So when this whole countdown started people were so excited for all the possibilities even if it could be just another box set whatever but it felt bigger and to have the rug pulled on us like that…. It was extremely disappointing and upsetting.
I don’t know who thought this was a good idea. Guess we will just have to wait for whenever they have it set for their announcement to be announced… just saying that the hype was ripped away and a lot of us feel really bummed out.

But if the reunite it wouldn’t be the same they are going to need a powerhouse of vocalist to sound the same or even better cause it’s hard to replace Chester this could only happen if the first vocalist comes back or someone close to Chester stature
Whatever this ends up being, I'm so excited to see what they do next. I can thank LP for introducing me to all types of music and opened my mind to metal, rap, electronic, pop, and so many other genres I love to this day

Your theory actually makes a lot of sense, but I really hope that this doesn't stop there, I hope Linkin Park actually get back together to do new stuff also, either with or without a new vocalist. Hopefully with a new vocalist who can sing Chester's parts on their music catalog. And I mean who can sing, not emulate Chester, but bring he's or she's own style.

so the vocalist of Twenty-One Pilots is joining Linkin Park after the Tour and they are announcing it officially at the Sep 5th show. i dunno if the Vocalist can fill Chester's shoes, but he's welcome to try.

Personally I think it's a nonverbal signal that Linkin Park is starting a new age, the countdown from their past, and the start of a new timer, a new clock, into the future. Letting them move forward.

ø is a symbol in twenty one pilots lore, who often stylise their name twenty øne piløts. Their lore relates the cycles of mental health to cycles of escape and recapture into a city called dema, where a group of nine bishops, lead by the one called nico, preach a religion called vialism which encourages suicide. Nico is short for Nicolas Bourbaki, a group of french mathematicians who introduced the symbol ø for the empty set.
The themes of their music highly relate to the death of Chester Bennington, particularly in songs like Neon Gravestones (released on the album Trench in 2018).
