Thnx for this video. But I want ask you, why I have different of cargo hold weight (to be loaded) by your calculation and trimming table calculation. With your calculation I have 0 trim like request, and if I will load same q-ty of cargo in same holds I have 0.11m trim as per trimming table. ?

Good day Capt. Thks for you tutorial about Trim, I have Question
    1. For Step 3... LCG of Aft Hold=52.17m, LCG of Forward Hold= -73.88m, but on step 4.. LCG of Forward Hold=52.17m why not -73.88m.. which correct?
    2. For this calculation Requaired Trim is 0.5m aft, can be use for Requaired Trim 0 (evenkeel)?

Kabaro..ang LCG of Aft Hold is 52.17m at LCG of Fwd Hold is -77.88m
Japanese method po ang ginagamit ko sa pag calculate neto..God bless

LCF is located aft of midship = 1.71m. so to get the COT it should not be COT/2 pls clarify. Thanks, sir. Likewise, the distance between holds came from midship and not from the center of floatation.

Maraming salamat sa iyong comment kabaro..Ang calculation ko po sa video ay base sa Japanese method which is kapag ang LCF ay Aft of Midship ito ay positive sign ay kapag Forward of midship ito ay negative sign..ito ay pamamaraan upang madali lang magsolve ng Distance Between Holds, Trimming Arm at iba pa..

Yes sir that is correct. But check your LCF. It is not located amidships it is located aft of amiships as per the hydrostatic table. So you cannot use COT/2 because that is only aplicable if the LCF is located amid ships. Remember that LCF is where your vessel heels and trims. Pls clarify sir. Thanks.

Sir Remund, sa palagay ko sinunod nalang ni Capt. BUBOY ang thumbs rule sa practical calculation. Which is ok lang kapag maiksi ang barko. Please also support my channel Capt Buboy. And Sir Remund. God Bless po and Stay Safe.

7:31 bakit po 1/2 cot? Dba applicable lang po sya kung lcf mo is amidship, mid of lbp ung lcf kaya same ang cot fwd at aft.
Kung lcf fwd or aft amidship di na same ang cot fwd and aft. Ung po kasi nasaba ko sa mga libro.
Bakit po amd ang ganamit? Di po ba tmd ang gamit pag trimming, kasi un ang lcf draft kung saan nagtitrim ang barko.

Distance of weight aft is referred to which cargo hold pls

Good day po Kabaro..Correction for the Formula for Distance of Weight Aft.. Distance Weight Aft = LCG of Weight Aft - LCF. ( Not LCG of Weight Forward ) as I mentioned in the video.. DISTANCE OF WEIGHT AFT refers to the Hold that is Aft of Midship in which your loaded weight is located.. For example, you have five holds and you are trimming hold no. 1 and hold no. 5. The of Weight Aft is located in Hold No. 5..
