Wahhabism rejects worship of creation in any form or worship of creator along with worship of creation .
This is what all prophets thought their people .
Wahhabism is a nickname given ,
We don't call ourselves as Wahhabis ,
because we don't name ourselves as Wahhabis .
We are upon what prophet told us and upon how his companions acted upon the religion .
We have no place of innovation In religion .
      Because
      God accepts only that
      Which "he has has commanded"
He will not accept what we innovate in his instructions.

This brother is confused , shiekh mohammed abdul Wahab is a scholar who was able to refute and change shirk /extreme Sufism practices in the Saudi Arabia region , he studied the Hanbali mazhab and he used to lookup and benefit from scholars of Islam like ibn taymia
This brother is beating around the bushes , he revived the way of the salaf , he rebuked the Sufism of the Turks and the Ottoman Empire
Did he have mistakes , yes just like any other scholars

His answer wasn't correct, he unfortunately added statements that weren't true, Muhammad ibn Abdu wahab was a scholar who lived in the Arabian peninsula about 300 years ago. He noticed that a lot of the Muslims in the region were practicing acts of innovation and shirk . So he went from region to region calling people to abandon these acts and return to the religion that was reveled to the Prophet Muahmmad , he never called people to anything else . The term Wahhabi was used to label his followers by those groups who had opposed him. there is no one in this world that i have met who has called them selves a Wahhabi. The term is tossed around and any one with a beard is called a Wahhabi. there are no such things as political Wahhabi or extreme Wahhabi. He has given a bad explanation to this question.

Shafqat Ishan السلام عليكم و رحمة الله و بركاته
Salafi are those who are upon the methodology of our righteous predecessors I.e the salaf as Salih. Wahhabi is a term used by those who oppose this methodology. It is mostly used by people who practice innovations like celebrating the prophet sallAllahu allayhi wassallam’s birthday or grave worshippers or calling upon other than Allah. They have actually made a tremendous error in using this term because they use it in a derogatory way but it is one of the names of Allah. Al Wahhab.

Shafqat Ishan Wahabi is used mainly by shias and Iran unfortunately to downgrade Saudi Muslims. Even though “Wahab” comes from the word “Al-wahab” which is one of the names of Allah.
