Absolutely love this idea because looks,race and ethnicity takes away from the bachelor and the bachelorette, people of color almost never get picked, you already know they’re there for diversity not to get to the alter but in a show like this look how her personality won everyone over.
Bella Unfortunately the cast mates could still tell the Blacks on the show by their voice. They would even flat out ask if the person was Black or not. So sadly the format of the show doesn’t eliminate the discrimination against Black women and men in reality tv. Lauren is an accidental break out star because they intended for Barnett to be the focus of the show. Netflix was completely thrown for a loop when the sexy, intelligent, loving, and handsome white scientist (Cameron) fell instantly in love with Lauren, a Black woman. That was not supposed to happen! They were all set to make Jessica or Amber the stars of this show. It was Cameron’s determination to have her alongside Lauren’s personality that made them a force that couldn’t be denied. Maybe Cameron and Lauren’s story could be the catalyst to end the discrimination against Blacks on reality tv. I don’t think it’ll change until the reality tv producers stop their agenda of casting certain types of Blacks only for dramatic effects and stop editing their storylines to have them appear as desperate 2nd or 3rd rate throwaways.

I love Cameron's personality. He's serious but super laid back and non toxic.and Lauren is pretty. They are lucky to have each other
