I still have no idea why Hasbro would design 2 cool toylines of a prexisiting property that were incompatible with not only the old toys but also most other toylines out there. Reminds me of when Takara relaunched the Microman toyline in the late 90's, reducing the scale of the new toys from 4 inches to 3... while also offering reissues of the old 4 inch toys? Or how after years of selling Power Rangers toys at roughly 1/12 scale, Bandai changed it to 1/18 scale for a few years then changed it again to a 5 inch line and a 7 inch line. First world problems, I know, but still frustrating...
Agree 100% I understand trying something new but the result is nobody is happy. Hasbro tried the same thing with the MCU toys for gaurdians and civil war. 2.5 inch figures and vehicles that didnt satisfy anyone.
While this looks really cool, I would instantly loose about half the parts. Wait...the gun is part of the mold?! I guess I can't lose it that way, but it's a weird choice for me. I can't wait to see what this looks like once you personalize it. I recently started playing with a 3d printer and was curious if you have looked into any of that fun nonsense? Great video as always!
I recently got a saturn 3 ultra resin printer! My kids DnD, and now I can print heads and accessories and all that. My dream project is to make a 1:24 scale transforming Alpha fighter from robotech! What kind of prints are you doing?
@@MantisNineNines That sounds like an awesome project. Mine is currently making organization tools like stands for figures, electronics, and other things. I have been playing with some of the diy action figures, but my design skills are rusty after not using a CAD program for 25 years, so they look really odd.
nice! I am dangerously close to gi joe collecting.
Wish the classified stuff wasnt so big, it all looks great. Man I loved the RAH joes back in the day.

the wife and i tried watching this show and we just couldn't do it lol.
Its a tough watch. Clips are amusing but the overall execution just didnt work. Kind of like the toys. A couple bangers surrounded by crap.
Do it!! Make it black! I see a red hiss and I want to paint it black!
Hahah yes!!
