There was "Elvis by Request" or referred as "Flaming Star" EP which was called a Compact Double & played @ 33 speed. It was released in 1961. Had 4 great songs including the recent hits Are you lonesome tonight & It's Now or Never. ...... Also The Aloha From Hawaii jukebox EP - had 6 songs from the Aloha LP. Released in '74.
Wow. I've never seen RCA Victor labels without the dog like that from that era now the ones I do have and have seen that are missing the dog are pink of Glenn Miller.
Love these 45 EPs, absolute beautiful. My favourite format, a 50's/60's phenomena. The first record I bought was Elvis' first 45 EP in 1982 as a reissue of EPA 747. It was first time issued in UK as RCX 7188 as part of the EP collection. South Africa released a Jailhouse Rock LP. Australia issued an Easy Come, Easy Go LP. Love the variations compared to the US versions. France issued many more Elvis EP's including, Blue Hawaii, Girls! Girls! Girls!, Kissin' Cousins, Spinout and Double Trouble.
Very cool 45s ed. I have about half of those. I don't,have any of the 45s from his first album. Those are sweet. The mystery cover I have never seen before. Ya never know that one could be worth some serious money.
I had the UK version of Strictly Elvis. But I must have sold it when I was on the bones of my backside. The cover was a photo of Elvis wearing the red jacket holding his guitar. Still have a couple of EP's - King Creole Vol 1 and Jailhouse Rock. Also used to have the Kid Galahad ep.
Ed fantastic elvis 45 collection. I got 3 lots of elvis 45s last year. some with original covers some with rca and some with out. fun to have. love to find a lot of empty sleeves for my 45s. your dad got fine taste brother and he passed it on down to u thats cool. another super video my friend your friend from canada eh!! mike m
So nice YES I do like the Elvis EP's a lot . But wow so cool to start off with a verry rare one . You sure do have some great ones to show us all in this video . I do like these a lot and I do have some EP's as well . Thanks for showing them see you later.
@ 0:45 that actually could be a slightly later pressed jukebox EP which would be 33 and 1/3 and have probably six tracks on it made by Seeburg Corporation Etc for jukeboxes. I actually just got a barry Sadler one, which is on RCA Victor from 1966 ten years after that album but it's the same way and just about all jukebox albums have a blank back so that might be what you have.
Ed: One of the variations of EPA 747 has white border with nothing across the top. However, it has the black vertical line that is used on the others to separate the titles and matrix. But there was a reissue in the mid 60s that had a white border with nothing on the top, including no black line. It could be that.
Nice I have that orange Shake Rattle and Roll ep I "found it" in a celler of a baby sitting job my girlfriend was on.Back in 73. It was in the garbage can. Pretty fair shape. I play any old 45 on a ceramic cartridge record player. Thank you.
Elvis Sail appears to be a Boot Leg.. There is NO Hole in the center TOP of the Cover for hanging the Calander FYI Tickle Me has an alternate Cover You Need Flaming Star
Ed do you also have in your collection those 2 extended playa the Colonel had released of Loving You soundtrack BEFORE realizing there was a need/demanda for a while album LYou.....?? Cheers !
Great collection Ed 45s are my favourite elvis records to collect the not good condition ones you should frame them that’s what I do thanks Ed great video as always see you next time adios 😎
Nice collection you have Ed ! But do you think we'll see more releases from Sony companies now that copyrights are no longer aplicable?? Lots of rumors around, lots from UK.
The King's Court for sure. My one aunt got his autograph and gave it to my cousin for Christmas. He prizes that gift. She also sat in the backseat of the pink Cadillac with her girlfriend n wrote a note to him with her lipstick.
The EP with the blank label of the 1st records could be a promo EP records for DJs to play. So it was not sold in stores. There a lot of different promos of records that are pressed for DJs only. Not sold in stores. So you might have a real collectible Just a thought.
I would Love to have the FOLLOW THAT DREAM E.P. 45 +++ and KID GALLAHAD E.P. 45 +++ but I have all the songs on CD +++ I prefer the dog on the Labels +++ I have the REAL ELVIS with HOUND DOG, etc. +++ I have PEACE IN THE VALLEY in Mint Condition , both the cover & the record +++ I will probably sell most of my records , except the GOSPEL & maybe keep my colored vinyl records and records that have songs Not Found on any other media , like Ronnie McDowell "ONLY THE LONELY" , or record those to CD and then sell those records - maybe +++ I have LOVE ME TENDER E.P. +++ I have FLAMING STAR E.P. +++
Hi dude !! I watch a lot of RUclips channels but I noticed with your videos I have to turn up the volume on my mixer in my home cinema !! Even on my laptop !!! Hope you don’t thing I’m being negative but just wanted to let you know !! Just in case I am wrong I asked a friend to check out the volume on his device and he too said your videos are low in volume !!!! Respect to you always 😃👍
Hi Ed, Do you use/buy from Discogs at all? You’ll probably find a lot of what you’re looking for there. I prefer to buy in person but I use it if I really can’t find something.
Hey Ed, Do you listen to your Elvis 45's Ep's ? Reason I'm asking is a lot of those singles, and/or Ep's have dedicated mono mixes and different variations of sound which are unique to those records. Check some out out and get back to me.

Probably the cover for the orange label issue

My two aunts were at the show the 1st EP picture was taken in Tampa Florida
They witnessed History. 👍✌️
The King's Court for sure. My one aunt got his autograph and gave it to my cousin for Christmas. He prizes that gift.
She also sat in the backseat of the pink Cadillac with her girlfriend n wrote a note to him with her lipstick.
@@shanerod9708 😯🤯. Wow. That’s such a great story. 👍👍👍✌️
That first may be the promo issued free with an Elvis Presley 1956 Record player
Not that, but maybe just a promo or test cover? Reject possibly? Could be a bootleg too. Who knows...
The EP with the blank label of the 1st records could be a promo EP records for DJs to play. So it was not sold in stores. There a lot of different promos of records that are pressed for DJs only. Not sold in stores. So you might have a real collectible Just a thought.
But it's very weird to be an EP, instead of a single, but it's a very reasonable possibility
Hello ed just to let you all know the new Elvis on tour box set is going to receive it now in march what are RCA playing at

Some people have said this, and others tell me it’s no issue...so frustrating...I’ll look into getting a separate microphone. Thanks. ✌️
Touch of Gold is the original cover, where “of” is out of alignment.
Hi Ed,
Do you use/buy from Discogs at all? You’ll probably find a lot of what you’re looking for there. I prefer to buy in person but I use it if I really can’t find something.
Don’t buy or sell on discogs but use it for research
I have always wondered and I would love to know the real reason why peace in the valley had a black and white picture of Elvis with colour background?
Hey Ed, Do you listen to your Elvis 45's Ep's ? Reason I'm asking is a lot of those singles, and/or Ep's have dedicated mono mixes and different variations of sound which are unique to those records.
