I actually came away with having a feel for each pedal’s strengths and realizing which attributes I may not enjoy personally. Great approach (and playing) on this video. Thanks.
Im a Big Muff guy through and through. Tho, I love them more for rhythm playing or lead lines behind vocals as they sit in a mix perfectly. They generally need a boost from elsewhere for lead. I did pair my Russian with an Octave Fuzz the other day, tho. It worked.
One ton bee showing just how under the radar it is for being such a fantastic fuzz. Mojo hand tends to always delivers a usable pedal. My pick though, always the muff. That sustain just sings, second would be a tone bender.
What a cool video. Really useful comparison to show how the pedals perform in a mix. Love the track btw reminded me of the Wedding Present and other early 90s indie. Bang on!
I really like the one ton bee!just a question;how do you set the volume of that pedal as the same of the amp or you just roll back the guitar vol pot? I can't crank that vol knobs like that at home!!
Unless you have a 3 piece, or you are the only guitar in the band, the Maestro and Muff circuits tend to turn you into mud or bury you in a mix. One can compensate if they have a very mid-heavy amp, EQ or even TS pedal stacked. Or just get the Tone-Bender circuit.
Well, we didn't have the budget to make a movie! But I think the majority of fuzz lovers are into '90s Alt Rock so this should be of interest to a wide enough audience. There's a reason why the latest Big Muff by EHX has J Masis sgnature on it (and it's #1 on Reverb.com's fuzz charts).
This is the most useful video on guitar youtube.
This is some great video production. I bet this channel gets huge!
What I really got out of this was the first jazz master tone that I didnt think sucks….wow great sound
The best Fuzz comparison, if not the best pedal comparison. of all time. Very educational.
I'm going to watch again. Well done!

Let’s hear your analysis…Fuzzes are fun to breakdown.

This is Excellent! I want any and all of these. 👏😀

OK. Now I need the Park.

In this instance, it’s the Park for me.
Great video!!!
Very cool!
Great job!
Thanks!
Park and Land for me
one ton bee
Is that JD Simo playing the intro song?
There's nothing fuzzy about this logic! Thanks for sharing.
One ton bee is the beeswax
The riff is smashing pumpkins lite
What amp is this with
Fuzz you, I mean, thank you!
Wish you wouldve played through a cleaner amp so we could hear the fuzzes better.
Sorry! I don't mean to insult you people...but that Maestro fuzz is the worst fuzz I ever tried in 20 years of trying.
I’ve been waiting for feedback on that pedal. I have the delay. It’s ok. Nothing crazy.
@@Thomasdgolden I bought them both. Liked the delay better...ended getting an original tc electronics flashback.
@@Thomasdgoldenthe fuzz was weak...there's many better out there

It's a different kind of beast. In a 70s soul / funk thing or 60s rock / pop playing mini lead lined they're perfect.
Several other ways to use fuzz in very different kinds of mixes. This is awfully 90s-centric.
