- Fort Lauderdale Police Officer John Giga was recommended for termination after a racist tirade that led to him fighting a group of men on Thanksgiving Day while off duty, police records obtained by the Miami Herald revealed.

@@sflspotter6638 IN THE BAR he began a racial tirade unwarranted..at first it was directed at no one in particular, he was asked to calm down he refused, he went outside looking around for a fight..side story, he went to the bar looking for a woman whom worked there; he sent her several angry text and she was in fear for her safety and hid, confirmed by fellow employees, in the freezer storage til he left. OK, so as the three men were leaving, he directed his frustrated tirade at them, yelling " i will eff you n words up..all of you n words!" which is confirmed by witnesses questioned. the three men laughed and went to their cars..he yelled again how they were n words and he would beat them all up, they got in their cars and began to leave. witnesses confirmed the cop continued his racist tirade, and ran up to the first car and began punching it. so they stood their ground and the cop ended up on the ground and lied about being attacked and the black guys started it in the bar, and its all on tape. he lied, was fired, the men were not charged, and the cop will be employed at another florida pd by fall.
