Cowan Lake State Park | First Time Camping at this Park

Join us as we travel to Cowan Lake State Park for our first time camping at this Ohio State Park. Cowan Lake is located in the beautiful town of Wilmington, Ohio which is located in Clinton County. As a child, my parents would take me hiking at Cowan Lake and I always enjoyed it. I must say that the campsite was really impressive and I had a great time!

Why do we do it ? We leave our comfortable warm homes, to sleep on the cold ground in a campground surrounded by strangers. And then, sit around smoky fires trying to cook second rate food , and we eat it like it’s gourmet! I LOVE CAMPING!!
