@@TheGrapplingNinja this is exactly what I thought. I came for Dorian, then I was amazed by Landon. Glad to get introduced to one of a hell of guard retention magician
You can tell who exerted more energy and who was more technical. Both were great, and this is the kind of footage you study repeatedly and continue to glean knowledge from
I dunno, but Olivarez just seems to rely on brute strength and pure athleticism. Not a lot of bjj going on on his behalf. The other dude, however, while smaller, has excellent technique, endurance, poise, and a good amount of moves in his arsenal.
Its funny you tell people adcc is easier for wrestlers but they underestimate how much easier. He's basically just wrestling. And he's almost afraid to be in half guard
Kids a stud.. taking nothing from him.. just wish we’d get to see him slow down a bit and see more controlled technique.. day will come he’s going to find someone with a stronger top game and takedowns.. his guard game seems to revolve around getting on top..
John: alright you gotta roll with Dorian today
Kid: F**k
Sparring partner is also majestic
That’s Landon Elmore he’s pretty good I think he’s also 17 or 16
3:00+ minutes of guard retained against Dorian is excellent. Great hips and recoveries from his partner.
@@mmhm007 exactly he was showing some master class abilities
landons guard retention is ridiculous and impressed me more than anything in this video

Thanks for the reminder. I’ll be watching that instead of ADCC
Ok i l see both 😊
Does anyone have results of Dorian at ADCC this year?
brilliant round honestly, can learn so much about passing and retention when you slow it down
damn these kids are amazing! Good skills by both, liking the Matheus Lutes style attacks by Dorian and other kids guard and instinct was really good
Gassed just watching this
Stop smoking
Future champ 🙏🏾
Wrestling up masterclass. Kid has a solid chance of winning his bracket at ADCC
I love Dorians style he is one of my favorite grapplers to watch the other guy was very good to seems like the perfect training partner for him.
This guy has speed and not much else in the passing game

Why did they reset in the standing back control position?
Probably to avoid injury a few days before comp.

Essa pressão toda pra perder na primeira luta kkkkkkkk
He kind of scared to be in half guard lol
I'm pretty sure that the blond guy is bad on his back.
Hey Dorian If you are reading this. I challenge you to a no gi grappling match. I’d like to go train with you sometime. Let’s do this!!
😂
@@Enigma95 would be a good roll for me. I wrestled my whole life. I am also 175.

@@ticoman12 aye worth a shot. Respect
The kid is good but his style is boring to watch and very 1D. Pretty much refuses to engage in anything that isn’t a wrestling scramble from guard
