I used the same method to get a Cutter. Why did i wanted one... well, i like to achieve things just cause i want to achieve it. After i got my cutter, i built it up light weight and took a trip to Beagle and back. (One of my goals so far is to make a trip to beagle with every ship there is in Elite. So far i made the trips with: Sidewinder, Eagle, Imperial Eagle, Adder, Beluga, Type 10, Imperial Cutter, Anaconda and Python) Currently i am building a Vulture for the trip.

My Cutter (Dracula) costs a cool billion credits with all the bells'n whistles added... feels like your driving an armoured Bughatti Veyron.. Fastest big ship in the game but Turns like the QEII!However, such a great flagship for any fleet...
Great for Pirate fishing...
Great for hazardous cargo runs
Good/ok for combat.

got to Baron in less than 6 hours. now I can buy a cutter, have the money but looking at the stats and my personal capabilities, I don;t think it's a good idea .. haha
but that's on me (I guess)
You have to get to Duke tho, I had to grind for like 15 hours to get there 💀
@@HeyYouYouAreFinallyAwake yeah i just not made for the BIG-Birds, my Anaconda does scare me haha, the only big bird i like to fly is the T9, because you can do it while standing up, since it is so damm slow, nothing to miss.
Excellent guide, I'm doing it right now and it's been quite accessible of a grind.
*Question:* Why **only** Courier missions specifically/why avoid the other data running types?

Nice video again. I would caution against rushing to get the big ships and or the rush to riches. Too many people have and the end result being they miss out on learning the skills to master being a commander. Additionally the cutter needs A rating and a lot of engineering to make it anything other than a mobile mats farm 🤣.
They do make for great shield tanked cargo haulers tho once engineered , I actually used mine to pirate in a few years back.... I'm a reformed guy nowadays 🤣
Side note , after many , many hours in this game im a multibillionaire , I own every ship all heavily engineered and whilst this game still offers so much to participate in, my ship of choice is the eagle. You'll often find me in a wing or soloing in my humble eagle. A ship, I and many, overlook when starting out in favour of a hauler / adder and the perceived need to quickly and urgently progress. The eagle, fully engineered is still a paper aeroplane but fitted with X3 rail guns it stops in a Hi Res until the ammo runs out. It can take out any ship from small fast ships to the cutters and corvettes...it doesn't like being hit tho which just adds to the fun. I have so much fun in this ship , more than any other including my 2nd fun ship a 5 plasma accelerator krait.
I also heavily use a 70 plus ly dbx as my taxi .... My point is all of these ships are cheap and don't involve grind and are favoured by many over the likes of the cutter and Corvette, for good reasons.
So yeah, I would advise not to rush n grind , great content all the same and the exact route I took to top up my rank in empire for the cutter 👍
you know i did rush some coins trading with pilots trading network, but now that i am secure with credits and can consistently be, i actually am having fun trying different builds from the metas to just hybrid stuff having fun. ill be diving into engineering without the constant resetting on davs hope, crashed andoconda, and so on.
I wasn't able to get 20 courier missions like the whole time. Had to mix in some other ones and still sometimes the game made me wait for more missions to appear. With mixing in every donation mission possible looks like it will be about 8 hours to reach Duke
Is there any alternate system rotation to make that? Ngalinn is at war right now, so i cant take missions from the station

sensitive data missions seem to work also, dont know if you meant to ignore them or? theres also the donation missions
edit: sensitive data seems to attract interdictions but theyre easy to evade anyway so just means more rep at the cost of being interdicted occasionally

So i went there are i cant get into the 2nd place says access denied and all my mission are killing things because that system is at war what do i do now?
Is it necessary to do that in ngalinn or could I do that in nanabozho since nanabozho is under empire and it offers imperial cutter
Not sure if you just had the wrong time frame in mind, but in case anyone was wondering, as of update 11 this take around 10-12 hours to hit Duke rank.

I agree. grinding is not the way to play this game. but I also acknowledge that some people don't want to play the empire and just want the ships.

@@JOHNKLERK69 well, mining might be faster depending on markets and stuff you find but Robigo gave me a solid 120 mil an hour when I did it. Didn't take much too, just a python and a few cabins.
