Don’t even worry about GCSEs. I’m doing IGCSEs right now (only 3 left) and honestly once they start it’s so much better than you think and it really boosts your confidence. ❤
@@idk.igcse_ i took 10 classes (including english lit and english lang as separate classes). for me i turned it into something fun. i found that i absolutely couldn’t study at home so i had to go to study at school or a library or a coffee shop or somewhere peaceful. once i got there i made a timetable. i wanted to do 8 hours a day of work at least, and i wanted to do at least an hour per each subject that i wanted to study that day. i would adjust the timetable depending on how i felt. and then i would just work and work and work. i would do past papers and then study what i did wrong then do another past paper. for essay based subjects i used a lot of reviewing of my exam technique and rewriting answers with that technique. for sciences i went over the most simple and the hardest things as lord of the questions in science are based on the most basic knowledge and then builds up. i did pretty well in my exams but i had covid half way through. also, you can only achieve so much. for me, i knew that no matter what i did for maths, because i left it too late to properly revise, i could only get a B. but it’s fine, i’m going to demand more support this year. and for languages (i did 2 that weren’t english) revising all the time throughout the year is so important. i’m now doing IB, and it’s quite a lot of work, but if i stay on top of it i know i’ll be okay. i think it’s all about discipline. also most of the time i wouldn’t go home and study the night before a test because cramming makes me super stressed. i would hang with my friends and maybe talk to them and test them on some questions, but chilling is super important. of course i would go home and maybe spend like 30 mins looking at stuff. but leaving the night before to revise isn’t a good idea… although i did do that for history and i still got an A
@@idk.igcse_hi! I think I did 10 subjects, and for every subject the revision was very different. For gcse science, the specification is your best friend. Go through each point and revise it if you don’t know it. Then do a lot of past papers. Then go back to the spec and write around the points everything you remember. For maths, past papers and then go over the stuff you got wrong. For English, practice essays (language), and then for literature go over the texts you’ve studied and write essays, for poetry go over every single one like it’s an unseen poem to see if you can remember all the points you wrote in your notes and then write an essay. For history do past papers and mind maps. For geography remember case studies and do practice papers. For languages (I did Chinese and French) go over the weakest parts - so for me that was listening for French and writing for Chinese. I also went over grammar and conjugations. For drama I just did practice papers.
Girl you are so mature!!! When you said u were studying for GCSEs I was so shocked ahaha you present yourself in such a calm and elegant manner. I'm 4 years your senior and I wish I was as put together as you haha😄
i cannot imagine being that put together at 16 ur honestly incredible!! how long do u normally revise for at cafes? all the best for ur exams u deserve every success
As an A-Level student, literally don't worry about GCSEs, you'll be fine once you get the revision in and hit some past-papers. Best of luck to anyone with upcoming exams/currently in exams!!
I’m in year nine doing my 4 language GCSEs and this motivated me to go and revise for the writing! Thank you Amy your channel is such a motivation ❤️❤️
hi amy!! i’m doing my gcses too and i want to thank you for this video, it’s honestly so motivating especially during this half term because all i wanna do is rest!! good luck with the rest of your exams 💞💞

Thank you so much for this vlog. I am currently pretty stressed out because I have two exams and two essays coming up this week and this video really motivated me to keep going :)
I know how you feel I am currently in the middle of a levels :( but don't worry! not too long to go now and I'm sure you are absolutely smashing it! good luck
i've my exams in 2 days and i feel so unmotivated and under confident even though i've revised all but this video makes me feel all pumped up thank you n ly
love the vid!! i live in london too and the weather this half term has been good, but these past couple days have been cloudy :,). also, just so you know, cerave tests on animals and is not cruelty free, so that's another reason to switch it out!! 💕💕
Yh that is me i feel like i cant revise at home but, my parents wont allow me to leave the house even to the local shop on my own (i live in a safe area 2) and im 16 btw😢😢
Bro, why am i u, why are u me. Everything u described abt urself from the studying in coffe shop makes u study more to being a more maths person that doesn’t study maths at all😭
😍😍😘 Wow!!!, you are too beautiful!!! whomever see you should believe that God is true &real.. and whenever I see you I feel like Iam in a dream... And when we wake up we all will realize.. that all this life was nothing but a dream.. and that only God is whats true and real.. ❤🌷😘 There was a teacher whom didn't believe in the existence of God, one day he asked his students, do you see God? the students then replied no we don't see God, so the teacher said if you don't see God it means there is no God. then a smart student stood up and said to the other students hey guys can you see the teachers brain? then the students answered no we don't see the teachers brain, the student then said the teacher then is crazy, he has no brain :0) Its true that we don't see God, but we all know that God exists. the universe, science says was not always there, it had a beginning point, the big bang, meaning it was begun/initiated in other words created, thus there should be a creator, there must be a God. One God for all of us he created us all and can revive us again, God initiated everything, & he repeat/redo things too, & thats clear, we see many cycles of things in life, water cycle, oxygen and carbon dioxide and nitrogen cycles, animal & plants cycles, & food chain cycles and so on, God created this life but it's only a temporary sample/an example of a coming everlasting one which could be either in heaven paradise or in hell. If we try to be good humans in life, and try to obey God and his messengers and those whom rightly represent them, then we will all go to heaven/paradise, if not then we will go to hell fire and burn in it forever .
