    Spain's Digital Nomad Visa (DMV)
An interesting feature of this DMV is that it allows you to apply while in Spain, rather than going through a Spanish consulate in your home country. If you plan on doing this, make sure you fly into Spain (and get that stamp!) to prove your entry into Spain. A stamp into a different EU country will not suffice. Don't leave the airport without it!
Something else that differentiates this DMV from others is some of your clients can be located in Spain but make sure it doesn't exceed 20% of your income.
Personally, I'd be headed to Aínsa, Aragón to chill in the Pyrenees. Where do you plan on living on your way to establishing Spanish citizenship and opening the EU to you and your family?

You didn’t mention that if you apply in Spain, you get approved for 3 years but if you apply at an embassy in your home country, you only get approved for 1 year.
