we have been living here for 14 years under E2 visa from Canada, my daughter is facing this issue, turning 21, system is so broken, they have not been able to work like normal teenager, now you apply for F1 thats easy, but then since you are international student tuition went from 1500 a semester to 4500$ its plan stupid and wrong in so many ways. so if nothing works we ship our kid back to Canada with no family no work experience no money saved since could not work, and need to re apply for all her Canadian papers to get a minimum paying job, or hope her associate degree gets her something, if you have a family i do not recommend this visa, i got 2 kids and its a problem.. funny we do it legal way and the USA makes it impossible.. no wonder there is no many illegals here
