I don't want to comment on your separation from Jose. You must have valid reasons. I want to comment on your Father and Uncle great work, given the limited tools and resources. You should use the liquid that Jose used, Solignum to protect the wood from termites or other insects attack. Then paint or varnish, the least costly. Good luck and take good care of Bella.
I think that your father and uncle can build a wooden cart to pull with the motorcycle so he can carry more products to the market in a safer manner. He can use old motorcycle wheels. If he can have somebody build it out of metal, much better. Good luck!
