I missed the point, is previous mechanic forgot to put back that washer? On my 307 i can hear some ticking noise sometimes somewhere from gearbox direction when idling but car runs fine in all gears.
I have a peugeot 306 1.6 96 Hatch do i have to drop the suspension sub frame down to get the box out, getting conficting opinions hear some people say i have to and some say i dont. can you give me advice on this. Cheers

It's BE4R gearbox.
they designed the windscreen bottom like that to use it to hide the wipers I guess.
