Hello what is the difference between VD70 LITE AND VD70. Can you update the software on the LITE to make it the regular VD70?
They essentially are the same except the Lite has less special functions from what I can tell.
Does it work with a 12+8 cable to program keys?
I am not sure actually, you might want to teach it to Vdiagtool, their support email is in the pinned comment.
Nice scanner. I haven’t had the chance to test a XTool or VDiagtool scanner. Only been able to test a VDiagtool battery analyzer. Hoping to test some items from either company 🤞
Overall these brands are the best value for the money. I highly recommend both brands.

how did you update it? i dont see any option for updates...
look at 6:00 in the video "Updates" on the right side of the screen.
@oneanddonediy mine won't go to that screen. The vdiagtool app says "restricted and cannot start up"
@@oneanddonediy all I can see is the tablet portion of the scanner.
Did you register the tablet doing the setup process? Also, if the tablet portion of the scan tool at the bottom of the screen, there's an icon that looks like a little car hit that and that might open the software for you
Just go inside the Android settings and do a factory reset and start from scratch again with it. This might help.
