I started watching this series for my own benefit and I have to say, you’re a gifted teacher. I’m finding the information easy to follow and retain without note taking. Your lecture style is welcoming and enjoyable to listen to. 10/10. Love the nerdy references too. Thanks for making this public.

As a former student of Dr Clark, I can say his humor and passion for art history remains even online :) so happy to have a record of his teachings 🙌🏼

Prof. Clark, as someone who greatly misses university level learning and history since I graduated, these lectures have been an absolute godsend. I have never been both entertained and educated so much from a lecturer. Your sense of humor really makes the learning fun and easy. Thank you for the bottom of my heart!!

My professor's class is terribly boring and there is zero engagement. So, here I am. Thank you!

Why can't you be my Modern Art professor? I've already learned way more. Still probably going to explode when we come to Pollack.

Your medieval bias is contagious! I now have a new-found respect for the artists of that period!

Italy has been under one government Since 1861. Rome was added and made the capital in 1871. King Vittorio's Emmanuele died in 1878, AND the first conclave took place in the Sistine chapel since 1774.

Artists became celebrities because they became good enough to mimic expensive materials? That doesn't make any sense. Need a real explanation why artists started to gain a cult of personality because that's an interesting question

The entire channel is great! But in this video that chair is very annoying! Anyway, it is worth to endure anything just to watch the entire video.

Vasari had an agenda....but you do as well......But great talk anyway! The word is 'anecdote'
Can you really say, with surity, that Michelangelo saw German vesperbild?
