You've done a great job with the video! I enjoyed every bit of it. I fell in love with 'the old Burberry' at first sight when I happened to see an ad of their Brit fragrance in a fashion magazine. As a child I knew nothing about the house and what it represented but the photograph encapsulated its true spirit, the spirit which has been long gone (so it seems to me).
I think you misidentified some of Bailey’s pieces from his final collection as Tisci’s. The aforementioned collection had the rainbow motif. Tisci’s first collection was largely beige.
What would it be like if they did go the route of say creating more functional outdoor wear or techwear like a North Face. Or Arc’teryx. But at the luxury level. Distinctive, heritage, and functional - but no puffer jackets! We've seen the popularity of Canada Goose saturate the streets on London.
Succession - the issue wasn't that the bag was from Burberry, it was that the bag was too big for the occasion/dress code. This suggested that she wasn't part of the same social circles as the rest of the family.
@@JadeSummers-c3v to ignore that this wasn’t just a large bag but a large bag made by a failing fashion house is to be deliberately obtuse. They could have chosen ANY bag brand, they chose one that wouldn’t divide opinions on its validity. The Burberry check has long been associated with lower class individuals attempting to look upper class.
Don’t even try to blame the less popularity on anyone other than yourself! Other luxury brands still remain! Don’t even blame it on people of color either!
Riccardo's tenure at Burberry was hot garbage. The Christopher Bailey era were the brand's golden years. At least an Englishman is back at the helm for now.

Such a kind and generous comment thank you, so encouraging! 💖

Back to basics is key.
Totally agreed with you as a former employee of the brand!
Thank you for watching!! 💖
Whatever heritage or quality… the truth is price point is still out of reach to most people not born into wealth.

If Dunhill can make heritage work, then why can’t Burberry?
if by "diverse voices" you mean everyone who looks different but thinks the same then well done you have modern day Burb

The latest collections look really chavvy !!
2024 collection has been dog mess.
The price tags are a joke and classic inventory is being removed
