September 2023 聖經研討會 聚會#1:《默示錄》介紹默示錄背景大綱

聖經最後一本書《默示錄》，內容精彩，引人入勝；綜合了舊約的預告和滿全，交待了天主救贖計劃的實現和終向。然而書中充滿極豐富的形象標記、數字、和舊約經文的運用，很多時意義難明，並容易被誤解和曲解。由2023年9月22日星期五開始，《聖經研討會》將用兩年的時間，按梵二教導根據「全部聖經的內容及統一性」和教會教導(DV10,12)，去明白它重要的訊息和教訓。
《默示錄》主題精彩百出，從舊約的創造至新的創造、新天新地；從亞當厄娃禍害至新亞當厄娃結合羔羊婚宴中；從帳棚和耶路撒冷聖殿至教會和天上聖城，新耶路撒冷；女人的主題(女人與紅龍)；彌撒聖祭與天上聖祭的關係等。真的不容錯過，是我們極期待的。

The last book of the Bible, Revelation, is wonderful and fascinating in content. It synthesizes the prophecies and fulfillment of the Old Testament and explains the realization and outcome of God's redemption plan. However, the book is full of extremely rich imagery, numbers, and uses of Old Testament passages. The meanings are often difficult to understand and can easily be misunderstood and misinterpreted. Starting from Friday, September 22, 2023, the BSP will spend two years to understand the teachings and messages of this very important book. Following the instruction of Vatican II, our study, explanation, and interpretation will take into consideration the "content and unity of the entire Bible" and the teachings of the Church (DV10,12).
"The Book of Revelation" is full of fascinating themes: from the OT creation to the new creation, the new heaven and the new earth; from the fall of Adam and Eve to the union of the new Adam and Eve in the wedding feast of the Lamb; from the tabernacle and the temple of Jerusalem to the Church and the heavenly holy city, the New Jerusalem; the theme of woman (woman and red dragon); the relationship between the Mass liturgy on earth and the Heavenly liturgy, etc. It’s really not to be missed and is something we are looking forward to very much.

2023-24 PROGRAM DETAILS - The BSP is conducted monthly on the 4th Friday of each month from Sept 2023 to June 2024 (actual dates for certain months maybe different due to public holidays, see our time schedule on the BSP website for the exact dates: cmccbsp.org/). This year, we will study "The Book of Revelation" part one.
