Fred, I am frickin impressed!!! Your Knives have a bug out bag that is a 10 out of 10😅 I'm jealous, and I've been told that I have a ridiculous amount of Knife Only tools
Nice kit. the magnet can also be used for bearing race removal. They like to stick in the milled out recesses. Also I found that plastic/FRN automobile trim removal kits have great spudgers for scale removal etc. They're nice because they offer little chance of scratching parts. I like to keep some fine emery cloth around for washers, burrs, rough edges on scales etc. If you have another small spray bottle, a 70/30 Dawn Powerwash & WD-40 (respectively) really cleans well & leaves a nice shine & less fingerprints on stuff afterwards. My 2 cents worth. Thanks for the vid. Cheers
Thanks man. Those are really great suggestions! I do keep a plastic trim bar/shim handy. But it doesn't fit in the kit. But that's a necessary item. Never heard of the Dawn + WD40. That's not going to blow me up or anything is it? 😂 I'll give it a try! 👍
@@BladesOnABudget No 3rd nipples either... sorry. Yeah, give'r a shot & let me know what you think. I think it's a great cleaner, shiner, protector & cheap.
@@BladesOnABudget Guess I should say, just because... That's Dawn Powerwash Platinum in the spray bottle. I add about a tablespoon of that Dawn & WD-40 to a little spray bottle of 3/4 full of water. Don't add the Dawn & WD-40 before the water lol. Adjust for a thinner acting cleaner (more WD-40) or more detergenty (more Dawn). It doesn't have to be a strong ratio to be effective for general gunk, grease, oil, prints, shine...
Guess I should have mentioned those in the video too. I've got the Spyderco "Sharp Maker" as well as the WorkSharp Pro Precision Adjust system. But I most often just the hand held Worksharp Guided Field Sharpener. It works surprisingly well for most touch up jobs. Unfortunately, none of those fit into the pouch! 😂
Really like the kit here. You've got a better maintenance go bag than most knife people have at their house.
😂 Thanks man! 👍
BTW, why isn't this Channel at least a 1000% bigger???
This is the kind of thing that every knife Enthusiast should watch!!! ❤
LOL. Thanks man! I think so too! 😂

Love it! My "Knife Bug Out Bag"! I'm stealing that! 😂

After I ruined a bunch of assisted open knives in the mid-2000s, I haven't fully taken apart any knives, but I still have my kit!!

@TheTriFyre assisted knives are rough, until u learn how to work with them. Just like anything else. If it's assisted plan for it😉
Nice
As always a great tutorial unfortunately my tools are set in little corner of my toolbox
As long as you know where to find what you need it's all good! 👍
Security bits would be on small locks on things like vending machine or convenient store fridge doors. Theyre out there
So you're saying I could be getting some free Cokes?!? 🙌😂
It's a shame there is no sharping Stone or system. Like the little Worksharp ..! I also see a copy on alli express ..!
