- Hey loves, in today's videos, I will be taking you through my house hunting in Lagos island, Ajah to be specific. To be honest, houses in this part of Lagos is quite affordable compared to the ones I saw earlier, but I couldn't stay here because of Ajah traffic and distance. It was great house hunting in Ajah Lagos too though.

Would you recommend living in ajah?
Ajah is far from the mainland, for example, it's between #800-#1000 from Berger. Personally, I can't, unless my workplace is very close or probably my business is thriving there. The traffic too is another issue, there's always traffic on that route.
Anyone working on the mainland shouldn't attempt staying in Ajah sha, that's like a death sentence 😅

Hi! Congratulations on your POP in advance! Okay, so before you think of areas, I think you need to figure out what you're coming to Lagos to do. If its 9-5, where is your workplace? That will determine the areas you can possibly consider. You need to plan and figure out what you want to do in Lagos.
But overall, I will suggest the central part of Lagos, like Gbagada, Yaba, Shomolu, Pedro, and all that. Surulere too. That way, you can access everywhere. Island is not bad too, if you can afford it. Let me know if you need more assistance, and let me know the area you want, so I can connect you with an agent if I have any in the area.

wtf, why is it so dirty if it's vacant and for rent? In my country Philippines, apartments, houses, and townhouses, condos which is vacant and listed for rental, are always tidy and ready, It's crazy that every time I watch a vlog about Nigeria, I always see this. How hard it is to keep the place tidy before moving out as a previous tenant? It's disgusting viewing those kinds of apartments and it's dirty. I'm sorry, but in my place, it's not like this. we have what we call a security deposit, making sure the place is clean and has no damage before moving in or before moving out.
