Used to live across the street from Peahi and to truly understand the beauty and power of this wave I don’t feel the slo-mo does it justice. We used to be awoken in the middle of the night from the ground tremors and the sound when the big swells came in, would ride bikes down the cane fields to the lookout to watch the wave in the the moonlight. Peahi is truly mesmerizing when its going off
I agree on the slo-mo. It's beautiful, but some might not understand why guys aren't able to pull up into the pocket and stay there. I'm pretty sure they're often just moving too dang fast. I'd love to see at least a couple at full speed.
That had to be Kai Lenny chop-hopping his way down those monster waves, as if he's walking in the park. He, if it was KL, was one of the few who was able to keep the angles right while maintaining crazy speeds. Definitely more than a few TOADs out there. That last rag-doll was brutal. Thanks for the video. Absolutely awesome.
dang, insane commitment on those paddlers part. As they drop in you think they are going to make it to the channel but then it just mows them over. The hold downs must be nuts...I guess the vest enable them to survive

The very best of surf filming by a very skilled and artistic film maker
Love the slow-mo! Great footage.

I liked the angle you filmed so much that it made me forget that I don't like slow motion. Congratulations.

No. Jaws, Hawaii.
Best wave in the world.
Slow mo is just too slow for me. I must be ADHD.
All slow mo.
