Fantastic interview Hask, you should be immensely proud of your positive impact on the game since hanging up your boots. Rugby needs more honest, open interviews like this and it’s awesome to get such an insight into how Eddie coaches. Clearly a lot of mutual respect between you two here which makes for really interesting conversation!
Hope Eddie gets all the success he deserves! And when he decides to take on another challenge after England (hopefully not for another 30 years at least hehe), whenever you come back to England, you will always find loving friends and a warm hearth. You will always be welcome here sir.
@Chiefs rugby Uganda people who work in catering at the standard you’re setting out may have improved and continue to improve. It all depends on where they started from. Yes Eddie has a good role and loves it but he worked his arse off to get there. Somebody flipping burgers still has time to change their way of thinking and living to achieve heights they never thought possible.
RUclips is so much about being eye-candy, it's nice to find substantial content like this every now and then. Good interview, interesting and insightful.

such a measured bloke. when talking about how he wants the team to put a smile on people's faces etc and then says "keep playing well at the world cup". no rash comments, just about the next game, playing good rugby and the outcome will follow.
They're referring to a book and associated podcasts about the corporate culture at Netflix. Eddie Jones is referring to a book called 'no rules rules' by Erin Meyer (which talks about the culture that has enabled Netflix to be so successful) and he notes some points of comparison with high level sport. I think that James Haskell is referring to a podcast about that same book. I'm not sure precisely which one he's referring to, but there are a number of podcasts that discuss the book (including one as part of the 'We are Netflix' podcast series and another called 'What if Your Company Had No Rules?', which is part of the 'Freakonomics' radio podcast series.
Population of england is 56MM, he wasn't an order of magnitude off you smart arse. Besides there are millions of english people living around the world so the english diaspora is pretty large.
The format of comedy and discussion really works for podcasts and Hask has a talent for it. Really good ep

I prefer these types of podcast, not about the life of the guest, all about how and what they do - keep them coming like this
My opinion of Jones has changed completely having listened to this podcast. Very insightful, and two very interesting blokes chatting. Brilliant!
Inspirational. Always great when you hear genuine laughter alongside serious reflection. Thank you
My favourite Coach on the planet. So Innovative.
wouldn't want anyone else in charge of the England lads. cheers hask, great questions to ask him
Eddie's work ethic is outstanding - the time it takes to constantly want to improve is an asset many people will never have the ethos to achieve

What was that Netflix show or podcast they talk about at around the 50 min mark?

I would love Eddie to coach the springboks one day. Sadly our political interference will never see that happen.
2007 wasn't he involved?

60 million people? I don’t think wales and Scotland will share the same enthusiasm if England has a great game 🤣🤣

get those ex coaches in, fascinating
There's a rumour Haskell is interbred..
👌
With the players he has at his disposal,is he really that good.I think Warren Gatland might have done a bit better.

Look at the 2015 WC cup team sheet, then look at the 2019, compare the results and spot the difference. He is that good.
James is good, just a little long winded..
