I just purchased mine last week and the knobs have different number than your script file. Mine start with 103 and go to 109. You may want to update this video and show users how to correct that in the txt file. I'm sure it is something Native Instruments changed. Great video! Thank you!

Hey man, how are you able to have the tracks armed upon selection? I always have to arm them manually because I cannot find an option to have them do that automatically unlike Logic Pro X. Thanks

Man, this is amazing!!! Just tested and it works perfectly in any plugin with the blue hand!

Cheers! Greatly appreciate the feedback! That’s definitely possible. This script can work with any MIDI controller that has knobs and buttons but it depends how MIDI is implemented on controller like the Maschines. I posted a link under the video to learn more about User Remote Scripts if you’d like to experiment! Don’t be afraid to tinker. Good luck!

ive got the same keyboard as yuo buy all my lights to show up when i plug it in, i can play with the midi and it will work but the only lights i have is the little screen and the octave lights?

Yo man ableton doesn't show the A Daw control surface option. I have the latest version of Ableton installed 10.1.14
Hey! Have you tried restarting Ableton Live? It should work with any 10.1 version of Live. Just make sure the script is placed in the appropriate directory for your current version of Ableton Live. Cheers!

Hey! this folder is a bit tricky to find. Try holding the Option key while clicking on "Go" from Finder's top menu. You'll notice your Library folder is then available.
Great idea but not working at all. Since the last update no script is showing up regardless if you use the original folder for remote scripts or creating your own as suggested by ableton...

Hi there, Thank you so much for the explanations. However, when I do exactly that, everything works fine expect for the 2nd knob of my A61 (knob number 15). This knob works fine in track mode though but not in blue hand mode.. Have you got an idea why ?
See what MIDI CC message your 2nd Controller is sending and edit the UserConfig text. Find the Encoder used. and edit whatever MIDI CC it is sending.

how come selecting another midi track automatically arms it?
This is an option you can enable in the options.txt file! Search for “options.txt” on Google and you’ll find an option you can enable called “EnableArmOnSelection” Cheers!
Have you found ways to Map a shortcut changing to the next instrument bank without clicking it to activate the blue hand?
Unfortunately, that’s possible with the current User Remote Script setup but I’d love to revisit this and see if it’s possible. Thanks!

Hey there, not sure I understood the problem that’s happening on your end.
The standard NI DAW control will allow you to switch tracks by moving the 4-way encoder left and right when set to Track on the top right of your keyboard.
You can use the SHIFT + Track (Instance) button combo only if you have a Komplete Kontrol plug-in on the selected track. Otherwise it will be disabled.

@@PhaseLoop Great stuff, but do I need to make adjustments for the file to match it with the M32? I tried before but the output line in preferences becomes orange and it messes the keys up.

Why don't I get the KOMPLETE KONTROL A DAW in INPUT and OUTPUT?
Are you using the M32 or another Komplete controller by chance? The “A” designation will only appear on the A series keyboard

You could try closing ableton live, reconnecting the controller, then reopening ableton live. Unfortunately, I am not sure what else would cause the controller port to be unavailable. Hope it shows up!
@@musiclearning2983 You need to download Komplete Kontrol software. As soon as you download, it'll show up.
Endless encoders jumps or similar behavior to usual rotary encoders, bad thing.
The idea of scripts is that you dont have to watch blue hands or holding a shift button on a controller repeatedly to do basic stuff. Its all distraction. A good script harmasses muscle memory and creative flow. This does not if you ask me. 👍🏻

You need to download Komplete Kontrol software. As soon as you download, those other inputs will show up. Good luck.
@@yoericktv9610 I found the fix. I had to put the files in both the 'midi remote scripts' folder and 'remote scripts' folder. For some reason I had two separate ones. One, for appdata and one for documents.
Lame. Takes an extra control script slot AND you have to use the mouse to move the blue hand? Lame.
How do you get this to work with a Komplete s61 MK2... I cant get this to work on my Controller?
