It's amazing what you find when you start peeling back the layers! All of our floors have needed varying degrees of attention from just tiling to removing and replacing everything including the joists. Hopefully you won't have to go that far!
We found a couple of wormy floor boards hidden under the lino so we took the lino up and had a go at repairing them but the village diy doesn't stock floorboards so we will have to replace them eventually.
Yes, it's one of those jobs we will get to eventually, in the meantime we need to get all the old rotten boards out and see exactly what we're working with - that's for the next trip though.
It took us ages to move the heavy Bulgarian furniture so we could pull out the lino luckily it was only one not to big area but living here I know that the house was done up on the cheap to appeal to " rich" foreigner's " we got the lino out into the lane and a tiny Baba hitched it over her shoulder and took it. Back to the house , new windows and frames throughout the upstairs but only single glazed amongst other cost cutting measures.
@@KathThomas-wf2tc The baba's always appear to be 'as strong as an ox'! Yes that is a problem, it seems to be a case of we've put in new things so can charge more for the property, but if they don't do it right in the first place that can be an expensive fix for the prospective purchasers.

We really hope not but if it's the case there's not a lot we can do about it, it is all part of the journey/adventure, and half expected anyway.
Your smiling that's a plus.
It is definitely a plus - how long for though is anyone's guess.

Too hot to do all that Darren. Hope you had a beer 🍺
It was a bit, but Darren did keep well hydrated and went into the shade frequently, on orders from me of course lol.
