I hope it remains true to the storyline and I hope the star forge is bigger. And it would be cool if you could pilot the leviathan and travel to other planets with it.
It won't be kotor if there's not multiple character options, there was over 30 in an original game the main character doesn't need voice just give us a bunch of head options

Either way it better come out , Saber has multiple projects and i don't know how are they going to tackle them and give the quality it deserves, like they have Painkiller 2 too as well and we know nothing still of that one outside of that interview with Geoff Keighley . They better not screw that one ,since it is one of my most loved vg .

I can see how a remake of KOTOR is hard to do. Ya got a rabid fanbase (of which i am a part of) who loves the original and have nostalgic memories of. They have to get this right or else the backlash will be harsh. Problem is as much as people want a just straight up remake of the original do they really? I replayed the original just a few days ago and while I still love it I have to admit its dated. I am not just talking about the graphics but the gameplay and amount of content. The issue is post KOTOR there have been other games within the genre that have moved it forward like Dragons Age, The Witcher Series, Mass Effect, Baldur's Gate etc with way more side quests, lines of dialogue etc. If they were going to do a graphics overhaul to KOTOR I think it will feel dated compared to the games that came after. So how do ya update the game so it has the same level of content other games do now? by adding content. Thats the tricky part, adding content to an existing game made many years ago that will feel organic and not tacked on. That plus making sure the tone, writing etc are on the same level as the original. I hope that they are taking their time to get it just right because its a high bar to pass.
I played dragon age last month for the first time and was dissapointed. Its so much more boring than kotor. From the fight system to the story. Just a standard fantasy game with even more loading screens than kotor.
TBH, even if the only thing they changed was updated graphics, I would still be stoked to play it. The fact that its a remake and not a remaster, is awesome. Anything they add, as much, or as little as it is, will all be an added bonus for me.

Keep the story, modernize the gameplay to other action rpg games available now, add new side missions, flesh out some of the mini games like the racing and gambling, update graphics. Literally that's it, everything is on a silver plate for them, they just have to execute.

If the Partnership is over with Sony that would mean that X-Box will be getting this game exclusively for the X-Box consoles that would mean that the game won’t be coming to the PlayStation consoles this is going to tick off a lot of PlayStation owners and rightly so this is not good for PlayStation owners and quite frankly is unfair to the fans who have patiently waiting for this game to come out this is not good
I own both however mostly play PS, that being said, screw exclusivity. More people playing anything will always be beneficial to the consumer (aka you and me)

Sony was originally backing the project with the developer of the Kotor 1 and 2 remasters developing the game. After showing Sony what they had done they weren’t happy and took that developer off the game and Saber took over. I’m not sure what the licensing agreement and funding agreement was between Saber, Disney, and Sony but basically Sony is pulling their own funding and resources for exclusivity rights. It’s like FF7 Remake was made by a 3rd party, Square Enix, but Sony provided some type of funding for exclusivity or timed exclusivity. Just because Sony pulled out does not mean it becomes a Xbox exclusive. Now they could pay for exclusivity or buy the studio but as of right now it hasn’t happened. I don’t think they will since they just spent 70 billion on Activision. I honestly think it’s a bad idea if it goes exclusive with any system. They have to pay Disney a big percentage for the licensing. As well as Spiderman sold it didn’t get as big of a profit as it wanted since they had to pay Disney.
Good, dont make exclusive to Sony - this will be a HUGE game if done correctly. Make sure its got loot lots of loot - a few microtransactions for Skins etc. Co-Op would be great.
