Classic Dragon plays lol. No matter the colors sometimes dragon's will just murder ya outta nowhere. Great game to watch
Old nawbone is the perfect example of why green is so broken in commander it just does everything lol
I play miirym and my group has adapted. They almost always save their counters or spot removal for her.
Now I never cast her unless I have a counterspell or they are tapped out.
Same dude, my group flooded their decks with boardwipes, my counter was to flood my deck with annoying blue spells. My deck is also more tuned for taking advantage of the token aspect more than the dragon aspect.
Love my Miirym deck. Old Gnawbone is probably one of the top 3 best dragons in the whole deck, and this is a perfect example why. They just combo with each other so well, and the game probably could’ve been over a turn sooner if he had a draw engine like Elemental Bond or a haste enabler. Also that Vandalblast was a sick assist to clear the way for dragons, lol.
Scourge is mine! Once you have a value engine to play dragons, you just play things and kill people lol
@@wolfsajin Oh yeah for sure, I've surprised my opponents quite a few times ending the game with Scourge (both of Valkas and of the Throne!). Terror of the Peaks and Astral Dragon are other good ones to end the game out of nowhere too.
I’m tempted of making Temur dragons, but I love my Gruul Klauth deck so much

Jokes aside, Miirym is one of my favorite commanders, I have yet to see anyone on RUclips run a true tribal deck.
Before I dismantled my miirym deck to make an ur-dragon tribal deck, the most "non-dragon creatures" I ran in it were two. They were Spark Double and Roaming Throne.

Yeah and enchantment removal especially imo is so slept on in casual commander when it could stop someone from drawing like 10+ cards
I really like the new Ian Malcolm card coming out in Ixalan. I wonder if Corbyn can make a storm deck using it by casting other peoples spells

His particular deck is trying to cycle creature cards into the graveyard to reanimate and combo with.

Reminds me of being a noob playing the Gavi precon unable to win games cuz I was cycling my land drops lol. I’m not big brained enough for a cycling combo.
I’ll stick to artifacts and turnin big boys sideways with big mana haha.
@@bigcat9189 no disrespect taken friend! It's just hard to explain in the small comments section. If you want a better idea of how it works, look up pauper cycle storm. I'm sure I'll play it again so hopefully you'll see a better showing when I'm not getting stomped by dragons and trapped under nihil spellbombs!

Glint-Horn can only be activated while attacking. Better send him down to the dankest part of the dungeon as punishment.
Lol, did he activate him? I thought he just dealt the damage because he was cycling cards, which is a separate part of his ability.
@@TheDankestDungeon whoops, in rewatching it, he describes the ability and then immediately cycles a card, which also costs 2 like his ability and requires a discard. He clearly announced it, they were just so close together and so similar. I know I see people (including myself) miss those “can only be activated as a sorcery” or “once each turn” tucked in at the end of abilities all the time when I’m in the middle of a game lol

Esper is not stax lol he’s a tax card, you can still play anything you want, you SHOULD pay but you don’t have to.
It’s not locking someone or something out of the game like GY plays, artifacts, creatures, lands, anything
All that tapping and untapping…and you still cant draw a boardwipe
