    No arguments there.. But where I come from, the unicorn is more packable which diverts unwanted attention away from me when travelling on public transport. I can just throw it into a pack going for casual games rather than bring a big rifle bag that security personnel tend to frown on.

    Cool comparison.
    I think for the blaster they made, the unicorn is not bad.
    But worker has more experience and more crossover parts.
    I own none of the two, but if i had to choose, i will take the seagull.

    I would be happy with either, but being the kind of blasters I like, it would be the Unicorn, remember I don’t upgrade. Only Pro style blaster I have upgraded is my Stryker. Oh, picked up my Longshot!

    I have the harrier and seagull and love them both. I pre ordered the tactical unicorn and wanted to know what you thought about it. I know it’s not out yet but it’s essentially the maxed out unicorn and I knew id eventually get one. Your reviews helped me pick my seagull as my first pro blaster that’s not the nexus pro.

    • @milosmods
      @milosmods  3 месяца назад +1

      My thoughts on the tactical unicorn I wasn't a fan of the original unicorn okay yeah it's a beefy unicorn allegedly and all that but it's literally just the same Blaster with all of the extra bits and bobbles on it
      In my humble opinion I don't believe it's a blaster that I will be picking up I'll just say that just because if nothing else it's just still a unicorn and to be the unicorn was overhyped and under delivered

      @@milosmods thank you for your honest opinion I went with the clear silver harrier instead. They are great and worth the price for sure. I love my blue one and will use that for games but a clear one is so beautiful gonna be my most prized blaster. Already have a silver scope and clear foregrip too haha.

    Yeah, I agree with ya, it's a great start up blaster for that Chinese company and I'd love to see them come out with a sniper for around $120. BUT, the seagull just hits different and is better in my opinion.

    Question 150fps close up does a dart hurt when hit from about 10 feet away

    • @milosmods
      @milosmods  10 месяцев назад

      There's blasters are accurate to about 60 to 90 ft I pulled off a couple of 120 foot shots before in games
      But of course the further you are out of the muzzle the more velocity you loose I don't think you would drop that much because for example I've had people like I said at 60 ft with that Blaster and they felt it you know what I mean so it's all relevant but I've never really tested it you know aside from my chronograph numbers and using it in actual games

      I have a 200 fps blaster and it doesn't hurt when I shoot myself point blank with it. But everyone's pain tolerances are slightly different. Someone might experience extreme discomfort from even a 130 fps blaster.

  • @doctormarklar9229
    @doctormarklar9229 Год назад

    Agreed about the CQB aspect of this blaster. Phenomenally easy to use that way. Great take down capability for swapping springs. Not sure that you're correct with the idea that this isn't good for open field. I haven't had any issues in that respect. We use rather large paintball inflatable covers in our fields but can also easily take cover behind a tree (a rakishly thin one at that). Something I have been able to do with my Swift as well. Maybe want to clarify size, shape, makeup of your terrain? As we know, not the blaster, it's the person running it. I've been able to clear either covered or open field with a single shot TKO and a dump pouch full of darts. Guess it's a bit of a subjective view?

      You're partially right there's three parts in my opinion to make a successful player the Blaster the ammo and the person using it

    Seagull goods is already modded out of box 🎁, more practical at CQB, me prefer Harrier ,but unicorn many players buy before seagull came in at carpark weekend game plenty use it include me,only few using seagull, ratio 1 or 3 seagull for 30+ players at field/carpark,

  • @reeseyme9613

    After watching most of the reviews I could find about the Unicorn, the cons stands out.
    - out of the box low performance like as low as 110~120fps and that's even with better darts.
    - giant cutoff on the plunger tube which contributes to the bad performance.
    - non threaded barrel
    - the really short barrel, I might as well stick to my S200S Viper.
    - design flaw of the top rail which may cause the screw to dig into the plunger tube.
    - do you really need those keyless bolt to swop out the spring?
    There's those longer spring upgrade kit but the extended spring housing will mean a permanently fix butt length.
    Seagull is definitely a more expensive blaster but better designed and included basic grade parts a player may need and even replacement Orings and screws together with the blaster.

    • @milosmods
      @milosmods  Год назад

      Exactly but a lot of people wanted to see a comparison between them I mean I did the best I could to see those just a more well-rounded blaster

    The Seagull is a nothingburger. If you want power, get the Harrier or Swift. If you want CQB, get the Unicorn. If you need to tune down for lower FPS games you can still use a Unicorn or a Harrier. The Seagull is not compact - it's the same length as a Nexus, which nobody calls "compact".

    • @milosmods
      @milosmods  Год назад

      Still 100 times better than a useless unicorn in fact I consider that unicorn to be a nothingburger but then again that's why we all have different opinions have a nice day

    Every post I have seen with the metal parts has not had an improvement in fps that the average experienced user can achieve with stock blaster.
    I get a very solid 220fps out of my Unicorn, but it becomes unusuable for some players because of the Worker 18kg Kronos spring on Worker Bamboo Darts and a 260mm barrel.
    The stock on the Unicorn is bloody terrible, the catch system for it has only 1-1.5mm of the catch holding on, and when you shoulder it to prime on the larger springs, will stuff the catch and the stock shaft will both round off very quickly and it collapses way to easily.
    Swift Barrels go straight in, and easier than the original barrel.
    I cant recommend the Unicorn for more experienced users that want a way more flexible platform, I had high hopes for it for my missus, but she absolutly hated it, and said it just doesnt have the ease of use like the Harrier...
    I found the Unicorn perfect for my 5 year old son, he can shouler it and prime it on a Bigshock spring, and he gets a solid 130fps. It is the perfect kiddies indestuctible blaster.
    Totally agree about the Seagull as the better blaster for the majority of people out there, more flexible, more powerful, and with the SABRE BLASTERS parts, you get even more performance gains.

    • @milosmods
      @milosmods  Год назад

      For CQB I would still rather go with the seagull it's just and again in my video I stated that I'm not a fan of the unicorn but to me the seagull seems like it's a more refined Blaster than the unicorn

  • @Andygriff1975

    I think using Harrier components on the Seagull changes this comparison.

    • @milosmods
      @milosmods  Год назад +1

      I mean even if no metal parts were involved and using stock components the seagull would still have better performance right out of the box
      But the addition of metal parts that are all ready to go that's a bonus and by the way the front priming block for the harrier/ seagull from sabre the prototypes for that part should be at my house in a week or so I'll let you know how they do

    I bought the upgrades for the Unicorn.....
    300mm barrel
    2.0 spring
    Metal internals
    15°bcar
    So this video is irrelevant it's hard to listen to you think ya know a thing or two with out the upgrades.....open fielding is easy with this tho I put on a 2x sight so idk maybe you need to invest in it like the community is if your gunna make video about it....kinda silly to throw shade at a final product when you don't have it.
