    A cheap way we forgot: PATCO to AC Line! If you take PATCO to Lindenwold and then the AC Line from there, it's a fare of just $8.25, making it cheaper than PATCO to NJT bus, plus it's faster than just taking the AC Line all the way.

    • @ClassyWhale
      @ClassyWhale 2 года назад +8

      Should we just axe the ACL and send PATCO to Atlantic City at this point?

      That's what I usually do, it's the cheapest (as I'm under 21) and fastest option.

      @@ClassyWhale fun fact, back in ye olden days, service to AC was double-tracked, electrified, and was as fast as 120mph in some parts. its def possible!

    If you truly want to gamble for a cheap ride, get on the NJT line with no ticket, and conveniently go to the bathroom or switch cars every time a conductor comes through ;)

      What's the cheapest legally questionable way from Philly to Atlantic City?

  • @AverytheCubanAmerican
    @AverytheCubanAmerican Год назад +8

    5:49 Not the Atlantic City Convention Center. The convention center is where the train terminal is at. That is the Boardwalk Hall (or the Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall since 2017; Jim Whelan was a senator in the NJ state senate who represented Atlantic City from 2008 to 2017 when he died as well as Mayor of Atlantic City from 1990 to 2001) which to be fair, used to be called the Convention Hall. But the world's largest pipe organ fact is quite true. It's the largest based on the number of pipes, it has over 33 THOUSAND of them! It also has the record for the loudest organ stop, the Grand Ophicleide.
    My mom's not a gambler but my dad was...he took me to Vegas when I was only five because he didn't trust me with a babysitter while they were on the other side of the country. We stayed at the now demolished Frontier (we stayed the year before the demolition; my mom wanted to stay at the Circus Circus or Excalibur because they were kid-friendly but my dad insisted on the Frontier)...and the smell of it was worse than the NYC sewer. My dad was also addicted to horseracing, staying up to watch Hong Kong races or go to the Meadowlands and Monmouth Park racetracks (which I've been to).

    Been to Atlantic City once back in July 2012. We wanted to try Megabus for the first time so we were like "Why not?" and booked a trip on their site from NYC to Atlantic City. However, that specific route, despite being on the Megabus site, was operated by Academy Bus. So in reality, it was an Academy route and the Megabus name only appeared on the tickets. I was hoping to board a double-decker but alas, at least I have a toy Megabus. We didn't run into any traffic on the way there, and made a stop on the way at the Cheesequake (now Jon Bon Jovi) service area (we stopped there on the way back to NYC as well).
    We enjoyed the beach, but the public restroom on the boardwalk was closed and the visitor center told us to use the Trump Plaza restrooms to wash the sand....so we dragged sand into the now-demolished Trump Plaza...no regrets. Not everyone can say they dragged sand into the Trump Plaza!

    If the credit works on video roulette, put half on red, half on black, and you get the full amount unless you land on 0 or 00, in which case you get nothing.

      In a lot of the Caesars casinos, they made most of the roulette table and games with triple 0s. So it's 0, 00, 000 and it's all next to each other

    Classy whale was close. The largest pipe organ is at boardwalk hall which isn’t the same place as the convention center. But omg you guys are so pure of heart. Looking up “how to gamble” lol. I go to AC like every 6 months. I’m enough of a high roller to get comped at borgata in the winter but not enough to get anything in the summer when you’d actually want to go lol. And I go with a friend who doesn’t like to gamble so he keeps me in check.

      @@MilesinTransit and @Classy Whale at least you get lavatory’s on the 319, 2 and half hours from NY to AC requires a lavatory and of course the 5 and a half hour travel time between NY and Cape May obviously requires a lavatory. I’m surprised that route 319 is even directly controlled by NJT trough NJT Bus Operations.
