To save time collecting both Speedrun and Sharpshooter at the same time, instead of saving and quiting at the quote in the first step, play the intro until the engine cuts out and shoot those enemies then save. Once you've done that, just skip straight to the Epilogue step at the end and bam, 2 in 1 with less effort. Also, if you want the crushing difficulty trophy, just start the first step in crushing mode as well as the epilogue. 3 in 1.

FYI for anyone trying this in 2017: Encounter select mode is not available unless you patch the game to 1.01 or later. A fresh install of 1.00 will not include this menu.
Encounter select option was patched in in 1.01 so you can not get Sharpshooter the easy way on fresh install, you need patched version. At the same time Crushing glitch was fixed in 1.03 or 1.04, so AT THIS TIME you con not have both trophies done in one try. So you need 1.00 for Crushing and patched version for Sharpshooter. Sharpshooter workaround is still working on 1.10 patch.
thanks man you saved me alot of time basically for people who want crushing and speedrun just delete the game the update and do as the video but for the sharp shooter you must do it in the last update which is 1.4 same thing in the video

+Faisal Al Saai if the digital version you download is 1.0 it may work. going offline only prevents the ps from updating your game. you NEED 1.0 or 1.1 to glitch the crushing trophy. you can try to delete and redownload the game, but make sure that you stop the update download with the download manager on ps. if it does not load any update, the game might be prepatched - in that case you need a disk version. after installation select Uncharted 4, press options and open "Information" - if the Version number is higher than 1.1 it probably won't work.

+ZomBear yeah.. Like I said you need to complete EACH level there is on crushing. Before you select a chapter it shows what highest difficulty you've beaten that chapter.

Works PERFECT even today. I have the disc version so for speedrun and crushing you have to delete the game after backing up saves to PS+. Then delete any secondary saves. Next, turn your network off in network settings. Then put the disc back in system and wait for it to copy to system. This is version 1.0 (not sure if there’s a difference if u have the PlayStation hits version). Then follow the video. I got the crushing and speedrun from this(and hard, moderate, light). Delete that secondary save after getting those 2 trophies. Now connect to internet again and update your game. Follow the video again for sharpshooter. Worked as of March 26, 2020. Version 1.33
Bram W sure I can try. And I just wanted to let you know that I usually don’t do cheat for games, but this one seemed really annoying to do a speedrun. Speedruns are way too stressful for me lol. I’m glad this worked. And the sharpshooter trophy seems annoying so I’m glad I got that as well.
I'm glad I didn't get the crushing. It's a tradition for me to beat the UC games on the highest difficulty. Plus I LOVE this game and have a lot of collectibles/conversations to go still. The speedrun and sharpshooter trophies are a bit ridiculous though so I'm happy to have used this little work around 😛
So I’m here, wondering if this still works if u pause the download so it doesn’t download the patch... I want to know if this method would work EDIT: both trophy’s worked but I had to turn off my PSN and not fully download the game
Easy Crushing WORKS, it didn't pop ingame though (maybe because i turned network connection off) - here's how i did it, it was different from the video above cause it got no encounters in V. 1.0: Like in the video above, you only need 1 savegame! if you got more savegames delete them! 1) Delete UC4 from HDD 2) Disconnect from PSN 3) Reinstall 4) Open UC4, start new game and create new save, keep stats YES, Difficulty: CRUSHING 5) In game - SAVE and quit 6) Main Menu: Start - Chapter - Epilogue - CRUSHING - Dont save here - press O and continue 7) Complete game (you can skip cinematics and quit to main menu if you see the credits) 8) If the trophy does not pop, press the ps button and reconnect to psn - look into your trophies and let them update. The trophy should be there (Crushing and Sharpshooter at least since you can not glitch your stats with encounters in v 1.0) Note: The Sharpshooter Trophy can't be obtained that way, because 1.0 does not have encounters-menu and does not glitch statistics so either you keep your overall-stats or start new and can't start the epilogue. After you got crushing trophy just update the game again and obtain it. should do this fast though, will probably be patched pretty soon. Note 2: If you have 1.1 or 1.2 you should be able to obtain all 3 trophies in one go - though i cant confirm this. Note 3: If it does not work even though you did EVERYTHING right, have the retail disc, only one savegame, ... it MIGHT be, that you need to complete the game on your 1st savegame. so if you have 4 savegames and completed it on savegame 4 then delete savegame 1-3 it MIGHT not work. Complete game on savegame 1 and save, then delete other saves. If it's still not working retry and remember looking up your trophycollection. hope that helps, good luck

For anyone still doing this, looks like Sharpshooter only works after 1.01 (not on 1.00 as there's no encounter select and I couldnt get it to work on chapter). Crushing/Speedrun only work on 1.00 so delete patches and use disc version w/o updating.

Did the glitch yesterday and it worked for the speed run trophy aswell as for the sharpshooter trophy. Crushing mode trophy didn't pop though. Oh well, at least i just need another playthrough on crushing that would make 2 playthrough's rather than at least three playthrough's without this glitch. Using glitch's is kindda lame but i personally don't care all that much, thanks for posting this!
PROBLEM SOLVED : I had the same problem as you guys. Apparently anyone who is on patch 1.04 of the game has been having trouble unlocking the speedrun trophy. You should delete the game from your console (don't worry your saved game is safe), disconnect from the Internet (to avoid updates), reinstall the game and follow the steps in the video. It worked for me so it should work for everybody else, good luck.
I saw that you can do it if you delete the profile data (back it up obviously), turn off your console internet connection and then attempt it. At least for the PS4 version and not the lost legacy bundle that remasters UC4 for ps5.

@@msnehamukherjee Yeah I was posting a method that gets speedrun to work. You can do these two methods and get all 3 trophies in approximately 10 mins. The probably the majority of people are having is getting the speedrun trophy.
I finished the game in moderate and got speedrun trophy, but in main menu only appears the chapter selection option, no "encounter select" to complete the Sharpshooter trophy. My version is 1:00 (I delete the game and installed again). What can I do? And the glitch has not worked pro Trophy crushing mode
If some people arent getting the crushing trophy, check your chapters, check what your max difficulty is on all the chapters. I played through the entire game on crushing, or atleast I thought I did, when I checked, apparently I had one chapter on only moderate. But even after doing this the trophy didn't pop, which was really pissing me off. So I exited the game, deleted all the saves a part from the main save and reloaded, replayed the epilogue and the trophies popped. I think there are a few bugs relating to this trophy. Be careful with your saves.
Okay, first, I advise you to uniinstall and reinstall, but DO NOT install the update, that seams to be screwing with some people. Next look on chapter select are all chapters completed on crushing? If not, complete the remaining ones on crushing. If not, exit the game and delete all save data other than the data where by you've completed every chapter on crushing. Then reenter the game and load up the epilogue (should be continue epilogue on the story menu) - complete the epilogue and it should pop.
these trick still works but just one thing to let people know that in patch 1.32 i wasn't able to save the game in middle of encounter fight, i wasn't able to save the game at all. so i had to finish entire encounter and than quit to main menu when they game the option. this did carry my statistic although for some reason i couldn't check that on main menu. i started the Epilogue and there i saw my new Accuracy got carried over. reason why i am letting this know because not sure whether it was bug or not that i couldn't save but if that happens to you, it might be difficult to finish the encounter if you are on Crushing mode. on Explorer you can just enable aim assist.

Patch 1.05 This video is helpful, however you cannot do an encounter select within the base version of the game. You can get the Crushing and Speedrun Trophies, but the stats carry over from the original game, making the Sharpshooter trophy unobtainable in this manner. Encounter select was something they added in later patches.

Easy Crushing WORKS, it didn't pop ingame though (maybe because i turned network connection off) - here's how i did it, it was different from the video above cause it got no encounters in V. 1.0:
Like in the video above, you only need 1 savegame! if you got more savegames delete them!
1) Delete UC4 from HDD
2) Disconnect from PSN
3) Reinstall
4) Open UC4, start new game and create new save, keep stats YES, Difficulty: CRUSHING
5) In game - SAVE and quit
6) Main Menu: Start - Chapter - Epilogue - CRUSHING - Dont save here - press O and continue
7) Complete game (you can skip cinematics and quit to main menu if you see the credits)
8) If the trophy does not pop, press the ps button and reconnect to psn - look into your trophies and let them update. The trophy should be there (Crushing and Sharpshooter at least since you can not glitch your stats with encounters in v 1.0)
Note: The Sharpshooter Trophy can't be obtained that way, because 1.0 does not have encounters-menu and does not glitch statistics so either you keep your overall-stats or start new and can't start the epilogue. After you got crushing trophy just update the game again and obtain it. should do this fast though, will probably be patched pretty soon.
Note 2: If you have 1.1 or 1.2 you should be able to obtain all 3 trophies in one go - though i cant confirm this.
Note 3: If it does not work even though you did EVERYTHING right, have the retail disc, only one savegame, ... it MIGHT be, that you need to complete the game on your 1st savegame. so if you have 4 savegames and completed it on savegame 4 then delete savegame 1-3 it MIGHT not work. Complete game on savegame 1 and save, then delete other saves. If it's still not working retry and remember looking up your trophycollection.

maybe because you have two saved files... delete one... you can only have one before creating a second one... then it'll let you :)

For anyone still doing this, looks like Sharpshooter only works after 1.01 (not on 1.00 as there's no encounter select and I couldnt get it to work on chapter). Crushing/Speedrun only work on 1.00 so delete patches and use disc version w/o updating.

Did the glitch yesterday and it worked for the speed run trophy aswell as for the sharpshooter trophy. Crushing mode trophy didn't pop though. Oh well, at least i just need another playthrough on crushing that would make 2 playthrough's rather than at least three playthrough's without this glitch. Using glitch's is kindda lame but i personally don't care all that much, thanks for posting this!

PROBLEM SOLVED : I had the same problem as you guys. Apparently anyone who is on patch 1.04 of the game has been having trouble unlocking the speedrun trophy. You should delete the game from your console (don't worry your saved game is safe), disconnect from the Internet (to avoid updates), reinstall the game and follow the steps in the video. It worked for me so it should work for everybody else, good luck.

I saw that you can do it if you delete the profile data (back it up obviously), turn off your console internet connection and then attempt it. At least for the PS4 version and not the lost legacy bundle that remasters UC4 for ps5.

@@msnehamukherjee Yeah I was posting a method that gets speedrun to work. You can do these two methods and get all 3 trophies in approximately 10 mins. The probably the majority of people are having is getting the speedrun trophy.
I finished the game in moderate and got speedrun trophy, but in main menu only appears the chapter selection option, no "encounter select" to complete the Sharpshooter trophy. My version is 1:00 (I delete the game and installed again). What can I do? And the glitch has not worked pro Trophy crushing mode

If some people arent getting the crushing trophy, check your chapters, check what your max difficulty is on all the chapters.
I played through the entire game on crushing, or atleast I thought I did, when I checked, apparently I had one chapter on only moderate. But even after doing this the trophy didn't pop, which was really pissing me off. So I exited the game, deleted all the saves a part from the main save and reloaded, replayed the epilogue and the trophies popped.
I think there are a few bugs relating to this trophy. Be careful with your saves.

Okay, first, I advise you to uniinstall and reinstall, but DO NOT install the update, that seams to be screwing with some people.
Next look on chapter select are all chapters completed on crushing? If not, complete the remaining ones on crushing.
If not, exit the game and delete all save data other than the data where by you've completed every chapter on crushing. Then reenter the game and load up the epilogue (should be continue epilogue on the story menu) - complete the epilogue and it should pop.

these trick still works but just one thing to let people know that in patch 1.32 i wasn't able to save the game in middle of encounter fight, i wasn't able to save the game at all. so i had to finish entire encounter and than quit to main menu when they game the option. this did carry my statistic although for some reason i couldn't check that on main menu. i started the Epilogue and there i saw my new Accuracy got carried over. reason why i am letting this know because not sure whether it was bug or not that i couldn't save but if that happens to you, it might be difficult to finish the encounter if you are on Crushing mode. on Explorer you can just enable aim assist.
Thank god. Just because of this I might even try the platinum.

Hey dude , i’m not getting encounter select. I didn’t update the game . Its on version 1.00 . If i update it will i still get the sharp shouter trophey?

This video is helpful, however you cannot do an encounter select within the base version of the game. You can get the Crushing and Speedrun Trophies, but the stats carry over from the original game, making the Sharpshooter trophy unobtainable in this manner. Encounter select was something they added in later patches.
Makes sense. Now I know why I couldn't get encounter select after deleting the patch.

I just replayed chapter 20 many times (10 or so) to kill more enemies and did the glitch. Worked :)
