Pure undiluted communication. A joy. You leave nothing out. Watching, listening to your videos my understanding, enthusiasm and confidence increased many folds. I m from India but LOVE Spanish culture and especially music . 🙏Thank you. A unique person and teacher you are. Anyone can play watching your tutorials
I'm pretty sure there is something very valuable in this video, so I keep watching it. But at the same time I can't do anything you're saying because I can't finger picking like you do. I guess this lesson is just part of a big puzzle and at some point I will figure it out.
wow man ... this class is a revelation .. beyond revelations .. i have so many jamming hours ahead of me ... you have a wonderful talent with the guitar .. its a sheer joy to listen to ..i am going to check out your page ..
peace and love to you man from saudi arabia.. you are a great teacher .. i don't know how to support you more than just subscribing to your channel.. i appreciate you
Hi! thanks for the video! I'd just add the following: The main key used in the solo is Bminor (BC#DEF#GA), but the chord F# is _not_ in the Bminor key (it contains the A#). The four chords used at the beginning (Bm;G;Em;F#) are part of the so called Minor Harmonic Scale (BC#DEF#GA#) (where, with respect to the standard Bminor, the seventh note is "sharped"). The effect of switching from the two scales is actually very good to hear!
You're amazing I love your music and I think you're one of the best teachers on youtube. Everything you do is so simple and I can learn it so well. I think you're amazing and thank you SOO much for making these tutorials and having them free. I thank you so much.
i didn't only subscribe, i also turn on the notification to get updates on you channel. you're a very good guitarist and an amazing instructor, i will learn alot from you. thank you for doing this. cheers!
good lesso- its about getting the licks ready (which you clearly know ;) )- unless you are clapton or something but its what i need to do ramdonly with licks that can be altered that makes my rhythm more interesting,
You give great publicity for Takamine haha . I've played all the high end Martin's and Taylor's and my Tak has unmatched feel. Not to mention incredibly low action without buzzing
Hey man, love your videos! I've learned more from you than all the others. Only complaint I have is I wish you would break it down a little more, I'm following for the most part but get lost in the midst of it all. Keep up the good work and your intro is hilarious!
i made a cool fingerstyle riff in drop D and totally different scale (i think) and it was inspired by this video lol my mind is a mess but thanks a TON for the cool tips and getting me better at the geetar.
Nice to watch hear and see, just let it flow around the strings that sounds amazing no stiff playing Have bought a Eastman guitar last week so much better what I had, stopped with the nylon strings because finally Finger painproof now Abonneerd now special for your Doggie hahaha
This is a progression for a simple 4-chord vamp. For those likening this to "Hotel California," see if you can get the more cohesive and extended logic to that progression--that's where the deeper structural beauty is in "HC."
..very interesting and well presented. ;~) i clicked on this by accident, and am glad i did as it reminds me that one can make great and beautiful music with reasonably simple ideas Cheers [as earlier i was agonising over some ludicrously difficult Shawn Lane guitar lines from a live improvised gig in 1996 at NAMM !?!]
I wish I could live in another timeline where you gave guitar classes in my city everyday so I can attend and learn one-on-one. Learning on your own can be so frustrating, even with online guidance.
@@TheCyberSatyr Journey stopped hahaha. I got busy with work and life and don't have the time I had as a college student plus I had hit a plateau in my learning i couldn't overcome.. but I still play occasionally like once a month when I feel like it lol. Not progressing tho.
fantastic!! iv VI ii III I think if taken in the key of D major? sounds amazing and I never thought of the fingering is so simple hahaha! now I see another "natural" thing for guitar than just the Eminor Gmajor scale. subbed. amazing.

Man you have to record an CD with your improvisations, all that I heard in your videos sounds amazing
I'm pretty sure there is something very valuable in this video, so I keep watching it. But at the same time I can't do anything you're saying because I can't finger picking like you do. I guess this lesson is just part of a big puzzle and at some point I will figure it out.
First time I see someone is actually teaching how to create music! Thank you so much man, your videos are awesome!

Algún video traducido en castellano?
Thank you so much for this.
I keep hearing Hotel California in these chords
I thought the same thing Robert.
its the Bm and F#
Dude your just stealing hotel california
lee deaton you cant steal chords. This chord progression was known long before The Eagles.
I did say you were stealing cords, just hotel California.
Thanks for showing the magic in Bm... I guess Joe Walsh was a fan of it too.
Great lessons here!
I learnt more in 10 minutes, than Luke skywalker in whole year in the forest with yoda
He's a good teacher
Your dogs look so relaxed. They are real dogs right? :) Like your videos. Gives me new ideas and inspiration. Thank you
Great lesson - thanka
subscribed...lots of things to learn from you :-)
Gorgeous. Sounds like Hotel California.
sounds cool. but I can't do the right hand finger picking like that. I think that's a key ingredient here.
whatever mode you think you are on, you are always on godmode💞💝
nice incite into el guitar. thanks!
I have to apologize...I thought I was subscribed already for the last 2 years lol
Tons of love from me :D
xoxo
