    I'm pretty sure there is something very valuable in this video, so I keep watching it. But at the same time I can't do anything you're saying because I can't finger picking like you do. I guess this lesson is just part of a big puzzle and at some point I will figure it out.

    Hi! thanks for the video! I'd just add the following: The main key used in the solo is Bminor (BC#DEF#GA), but the chord F# is _not_ in the Bminor key (it contains the A#). The four chords used at the beginning (Bm;G;Em;F#) are part of the so called Minor Harmonic Scale (BC#DEF#GA#) (where, with respect to the standard Bminor, the seventh note is "sharped"). The effect of switching from the two scales is actually very good to hear!

    • @Ryanbaggarly

      SO WHAT IS THE MINOR HARMONIC SCALE IN TABS? PLEASE

    This is a progression for a simple 4-chord vamp. For those likening this to "Hotel California," see if you can get the more cohesive and extended logic to that progression--that's where the deeper structural beauty is in "HC."

  • @The1stMrJohn
    @The1stMrJohn 6 лет назад

    ..very interesting and well presented.
    ;~)
    i clicked on this by accident, and am glad i did as it reminds me that one can make great and beautiful music with reasonably simple ideas
    Cheers
