Difference between Renewable and Nonrenewable Resources

- Natural resources can be classified as renewable and nonrenewable resources. Natural resources can be classified as renewable or nonrenewable
A renewable resource can be replaced at the same rate in which the resource is used
Common renewable resources used to produce energy include,
Solar, like these solar panels converting solar energy into electricity. A nonrenewable resource is a resource that forms at a rate that is much slower than the rate that it is formed. Coal is an example. It takes millions of years to create coal and once it is used up it is no longer available
You can use CON to remember three popular nonrenewable resources.
This stands for
Coal
Oil
Natural Gas

Forest resources should be used in an environment friendly and developmentally sound manner. Instead of using non-renewable natural resources, use of renewable natural resources should be preferred. Waste water generated by industries should be recycled. We should use natural resources cautiously so that economic growth and ecological conservation go hand in hand.
Wow thanks for the tips you helped a lot✌
Jest watch the video sir
Who is here for school
everyone’s teacher gave them this video but my *mom* gave me this video to watch cause I’m homeschooled lmao-
This is misleading. Renewable energy machines, (solar panels, wind turbines, batteries, etc) use non-renewable resources.

Oil is abiotic, the earth constantly makes it. It is the greatest renewable energy resource on earth.
facts tho
im totally uneductaded on the subject but my teacher never mentions how the earth is till making oil
how do we know its producing faster than we be using it tho? this is legit question
@@prequelanimations539 it isn't producing faster than we are making it. oil forms when fossils degrade over millions of years, so yes it's technically renewable but not on a scale nearly fast enough to matter to humanity, which is why we classify it as non-renewable. the amount we use cannot be replaced at the same rate we use it.
i've heard that scientists are looking into a type of algae that can be used to create something very similar to oil though, but it's a very new development.
I love it ❤❤❤
