@@GloriaC Hello 👋 Gloria! Thanks for sharing lots of useful information. I wanted to ask a few questions. I graduated from university this year. 1. I am applying for Knight Hennessy Scholarship 2. I am going to apply for Stanford Graduate Program ¿ But they say that application period will open October. The requirement was to apply separately for each. Will I be able to apply for 2022-2023 academic year then?
Shine Africa Shine. 😄😄she's representing my Continent I'm so proud to be African btw, there are too FEW RUclips channels like this... I promise when I get into the ivy leagues I'll make my own channel and keep the rippling effect going thank you so much...❤❤🇿🇦
Hi Gloria! First of all, thank you for your time in making this video! I really want to apply to one of the Graduate Schools in Stanford, Education, to be exact, but I keep on self-doubting myself whether to do it or not. So your encouragement in this video to do it any way really helps me! So thank you!
You go girl! Congratulations!!! Do you have any tips of how to come up with a research topic, how to win supervisors in interviews and how to protect your idea from getting stolen
I had struggled with the stolen idea paranoia, because it can actually happen, nontheless, developing an idea without interactions with academia faculty and resources it's pretty difficult. The best thing you can do it's right all your idea, I mean write a document where you develop the concept and that works as a support of your work on it. Write everything, and make public that you're are working on certain topic such that you have witnesses of it.
Girl thank you you VERY much for this video!!! Its so amazing to see a black person like me get in this places! I'm looking for information about masters applying process, scholarship and etc at these universities for international students too (I'm brazilian). even you're talking about phd your video was very helpful end encouraging! Thanks once again!
I like this video! Very informative, I am an international student who is applying for Columbia (GS). Non traditional student. You're so real and relatable! I am applying early action. Hoping I'm accepted.
That was a really insightful video, thank you so much for this. I actually plan on going to Stanford too. Do you have any other social account where I could follow you and discuss with you about it?
Hey Gloria, my name is Wesley and I am from Zimbabwe too. I am at the tail end of my Knight-Hennessy application and I was wondering if you could have a look at it😬 I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks for the content😊
Excuse me If I got accepted in a fully-funded Ph.D. program, but neither I have enough money to pay the first tuition fee nor to support myself. I mean, do I have to demonstrate I have money to the embassy of USA to get the visa or the university will cover all the expenses previously before I arrive in the USA? (I can afford the flight, the visa, and the application fee, but have not money to living expenses and tuition).
I suggest you take an educational loan just in case, make sure it is a small amount so that you don't get a huge debt but enough for just in case purposes. There will always be unforeseen expenditures and in some cases the funding comes later. For such cases you have a reserve.
Hi Gloria, I am interested in PhD Chemistry graduate school admission at Stanford. I have two research papers as first author both having 5 impact factor in my master's project. Please tell me my chances of getting admission at Stanford.
I’m only a freshman in college, but I’m already thinking about my masters and that explains why I’m here
