Gordon has kind of mellowed a bit over the last 20 years, probably since he had to do more kids' cooking shows and TV interviews. While he can be seen as an aggressive bully, he does limit that side of him to the kitchen, and is perfectly respectful and level headed outside the workplace (from what I've seen in his many shows, at least). Whether that's a healthy working environment to create is certainly questionable, though!

He also puts oil in water with pasta to "stop it sticking". I love watching kitchen nightmares for the laughs but the guy edits the show to make himself always look right. He's very hard to take serious most of the time.
