Vedanta is the final verdict of the Vedas.

Vedanta means Ved + ant = goal of the Vedas. Vedas are core scriptures of Hinduism. They have 4 parts - samhita, brahmana, aranyak and Upanishads. First two deal with rituals and ceremonies. Last two deal with spiritual knowledge. Upanishads+ Brahma Sutra ( part of aranyak) + bhagvad gita= scriptures of vedanta ( known as prasthan trayi or three fold foundation)

Maharaj should be confident first. Sometimes he talks in third person which creates more confusion to the people. Just express clearly what is the teaching.
