You are mistaken! Sadhguru doens't claim his realisation is different from our ancient one but all he says is books and traditions doesn't make you realise and at the end of the day Realisation is the goal not the traditions or books!
Swami Sarwapiyananda is specially blessed by the divine otherwise such living encyclopedia of diffrrent philosophies and spirituality is not normal .. so much knowledge compacted and still so humble claiming no credit himself for so much work he himself is doing in flashing light on great works of Swami Vivekananda and Swami Bhajanananda .. and how beautifully keeping Ramakrishna Paramhamsa in the background as source of all .. i love and owe him so much .. I pray to my lord that may I get a chance to bow down and touch his feet one day . .

29:22 Swami Vivekananda: Practical spiritualist and practical Vedantist
Swami Vivekananda was a great modern Vedantin. He also practiced Raja Yoga or Ashtanga Yoga which is Yogic Meditation, and not Vedantic Meditation. Vedanta is the perfect source of Jnana Yoga that gives one consummate intellectual knowledge of one's true nature. The intellect has to however be dissolved along with the Ego to attain to the Self and Yogic Meditation is the way to do that.
Read on how Swami Vivekananda's end on the earthly plane came to be to understand this. Also read on the Meditation practiced by Sri Ramakrishna as guided by Totapuri to attain to the Self
Vedanta is the path, the end of which is attained to by Ashtanga Yoga. It is important to pursue and practice both

Swamiji... I have a question here... At the end of this lecture, you have said that all religions lead to the same divinity. I agree to it & disagree to it. Islam in its core accepts no God other than Allah and no spiritual person other than Mohammad; So in Middle East, we find no religion other than Islam... And we had partition of India on religious ground & the population of minorities has dwendled in Pakistan & Bangladesh... Muslims have moved to different democracies the world over, they enjoy democratic rights yet being free to practice their own; But in muslim majority countries, this is not the case with other minorities; terrorism is their biggest weapon to destroy other religions, independent thinking or reformation within their own fold. Besides, Muslims are known to increase population to bring in demographic changes as per population trends from surveys. So, how can this diversity of different religions stay on in future without a major war for survival of the fittest?... And how can Advaita Vedanta bring about a change in the core ideology of intolerance in Middle East world?

One who demands money to provide you with spiritual guidance and who amassed wealth and assets by preaching spirituality is not worthy of being a Guru. Read Verses 54 to 59 in Chapter 2 of Bhagavad Gita wherein Lord Krishna tells Arjuna the characteristics of a 'Man of Wisdom'. A Guru must be one who has realized the Self. One who has realized the Self does not care for Money, Assets, Praise, Power or Status.
None of the above is aimed at any specific individual. Just saying. Anyone is free to apply

If Advaita teaches we are not form, not mind, not individuality then how can the divinity in us manifest? To whom will it manifest and through what will it manifest? Swamiji said, this is Swami Vivekanandaji's Vedanta - perhaps that means it is different from Sankaracharya's Vedanta! Sankara never spoke about manifesting divinity as opposed to knowing the Self.
As an adherent of Sri Shankaracharya’s teachings, the way I like to approach Swami Vivekananda’s exhortation to manifest one’s divinity is this. Sri Shankaracharya taught that the real nature of an individual is identical to the real nature of Ishvara as Brahman or Self. Since this jagat or world, which includes the individual, is nothing but the manifestation of Ishvara, service to the world by an individual is nothing but service to Ishvara. Further, such service is nothing but a natural manifestation of the real nature of the individual who is never apart from Ishvara.

Where is the awareness if not in the sensorial perception of an object towards another object? Is consciousness allpervading? Who is its subject? In the example of deep sleep, for instance, where is consciousness?
Brahma...the unity of everything, what is in reality, when baren of the human/mental concept?

Do all this concept really help to get the truth?
All inspired and mistics had an 'experience'which was always only theirs, subjective and untranslatable into words...so how can we speak of one truth? A truth beyond man and mind, if that's all we have/are??

As an extra witness to Vivekananda's views, I'd like to add on that I too experienced inclination towards Dualism first, then Qualified Monism, and then now, I'm inclined to Non-Duality.

You mention new knowledge, my question is, when does new knowledge become old knowledge ?? A second after it becomes known or longer ?? If you know something, then it is neccessarily of the past which is stored as a memory that u recall n therefore old. In fact, the second you know something that's new to you, the very next second it becomes old. Also new to you is old for somebody else.
There is nothing new under the Sun.

you shouldnt talk or say things in a derogatory terminology FOR HIM. If he will acknowledge the scriptures and hinduism, ANTI HINDU FORCES WILL GANG UP ON HIM. THATS WHY THERE IS A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN YOUR FOLLOWING AND HIS FOLLOWING and viewership. HE is doing the work, bringing people to hinduism and spirituality , and by not acknowledging, he is attracting people who hate the idea of religion anywhere near spirituality . the world we live in can not accept hinduism as the spiritual ideology. Many times he has acknowledged that NO ONE CAN EVER TARNISH HINDUISM, the very idea is non divisible from spirituality and realisation. knowers know, need not to say.
