I took this list to locals (with Unfair instead of Catcher) and won against multiple Gardevoir and another C-Pao (the list with Iron Hands) Super fun deck, noctowl engine feels REAL good, and having multiple pseudo-RadNinja attackers was also useful
Chien pao with noctowl totally makes sense in this deck. If this deck build would put into good use, i bet this would be on the B Tier range if the players would choose this unique build
This deck gets smoked in 2 seconds from zard, pult, Thorns, Gholdengo, Cornerstone Ogerpon, and even greninja + Froslass. Its unplayable atm unfortunately.
Tell me you have no idea of playing CPao without telling me. I‘ve won against all of those countless times with CPao. You just need some skill. Pao is one of the greatest skill decks ever cause it’s not like many of the other autopilot decks like Zard and stuff. And just because you can use the Metal weakness, doesn’t mean, that it’s an autoloss. They still need to take their six prices and for that they need to take 3-4 kos. So i can still be faster with ease. The only problem for CPao is Dusknoir, which I countered with throwing in a 1-1 Line myself to have an answer.
Tbf I'm just running a a triple threat of palkia v max pao ex and kingdra ex with 2 backs a rad gra and and phes ex and like 16 water energy and I just pull for what I need with iono irida and aver and it usually goes well I just deck thin energy use it to draw more till I get set up use backs and palkia to load the canons or the radiant snipes and palkia isn't really a slouch in a pinch either but my main goal is usually draw out half my energy sacrifice a pao and one shot everything in the game with 5-6 energy on the kingdra
Ok so hear me out for a deck idea, Glimmora ex because of all the area Zero running around you use glimmorra and cut the bench for them to 3 and HARD counter Miraidon
I 5hink it mjght be nice fo have a "lady", it draws4 energy. I still play normsl stuff, but i realized 5hat many players tried to get my accelerator on the active, and getting 2 enervies in the early game tended to stall enough for them to set up. Due to thst, i play 2 substituins and the lady. It also helps against charizard, if they get lucky and go too fast for you. Its a really powerful card, so you onlu reallu need one copy. Maube 2
Bruv, I’ve been watching your channel for a minute, it’s refreshing, and I love your energy. But please, for the love of god, stop saying the format is bad. It’s the healthiest it’s ever been. Nothing it’s broken or absolutely unbeatable. There are a good 17 different decks that all have success none of which absolutely trounce on everything else. Don’t mistake popularity with viability. Briar takes a VERY niche scenario to work. If you force it to work with a Dusk bomb, it’ll still take you a MASSIVE combo to make it work. It’s A LOT of work for those 3, 4 prize turns. It’s BALANCED. You’re a content creator. It’s a big responsibility, because some people might actually believe you when you say the format is bad, when it’s FAR from the truth. A bad format was the ADP days. The Stormfront Sableye. THOSE were bad formats. So please, be more positive. I like positive Shawn. 👍🏽

Since CPao is probably cooked post rotation, I'll be looking a lot further into funny lists from now on for it.

Gastrodon is mid. Klingklang is mid. There are better cards that can be used to beat C-Pao

I was doing the malasian winer versión (the one with the dusparce) but i felt that something was mising. Maybe this is what it needed

I think CPao is best played as a "box" deck with different attackers. Iron hands, rad greninja, ogerpon, cpao, and black kyreum (when that comes out)
This list also has wellspring mask as another Greninja+ type attacker
Why my noctowl cannot be use the ability?
You need to have a Tera Pokemon in play. The list in the video is using Wellspring Mask Ogerpon for that purpose

Day 28! I hope chien pao comes back, a lot of people aren’t respecting the radiant greninja plays, and it’s got big knock out potential.

I mean only problem with format is dusknoir but it's not so game breaking just makes most stage 2 decks really hard to play when they lose coin toss
The only truly toxic thing is hands, dusknoir, and briar pushing out single prize decks, but you're right
