I bought the 14 mm J2K about a month ago and wow, absolutely great….spin is amazing, control is fantastic, and power is always on tap when needed , such as drives and overhead kills!
J2K 16 MM has been my main for about 4-5 months - Excellent control paddle with a FIRM feel ...the J2TI is a bit more poppy and has slightly less control at the kitchen......I would be interested to test out the J2K- 14MM......Keep up the great reviews Matt K......
Five J2K options! Wow! Kudos to Honolulu Pickleball for continuing to push the paddle envelope. And praise to you for helping us make some sense of it all.
Absolutely want the pro version! I played with my friends GRUVYN a while back and loved it, so the idea the pro 14 plays similarly is really exciting. Plus a more power version of the J2 is what I always said Honolulu needed
I’ve been recommending the J2ti so much to people. Great sweet spot and touch. I’m just now getting comfortable with 14 mm and I think the j2k pro with a little more power would be the one I’d like to try
I will add I played with weight tape in various positions, and ended up with tape on the top corners ( slightly more to center than to the side…in 11 o’clock and 1 o’clock positions) gave me more power, while seemingly nothing given up in agility , or control.
Thank you! It’s from Flamingo Pickleball. Should’ve said something about them in the vid. Promo code MATTHEWK will save you 15% on their site in case you want to check them out! bit.ly/4eCQ5JV
I have enjoyed the J2 and got that for my parents. I have moved onto some more powerful paddles and tried different shapes. But the J2K PRO seems like the 14mm for me to experiment with a thinner paddle. Once again, a Great Review!!!
Great explanation of the differences between the paddles. I have been playing with the J2K for a while now so I bought the J2Ti but never got to play with it. My wife put her name on it so I will never play it. But after your review, I think the J2K 14 mm paddle I should have bought instead. Thanks for the promo codes!
Another thorough and comprehensive description to help buyer best figure out which of Honolulu's J2K lineup would fit their game play style the best. This will remain a very helpful guide to buyers.
A few weeks ago one of the guys at the park let me try his J2K Pro 16mm for a few mins and it felt so good. I like what you say about the extra pop & crispier feel of the J2K Pro 14mm
I’ve dragged my feet as long as I could avoiding power paddles. But with the way the game (even at rec play) is evolving, I think it’s either adapt, or be body-bagged to death. I think the J2K Pro (either 14 or 16mm) is one of the easier transition paddles to the power side of things for more competitive/advanced games.
I use mostly 14mm paddles and enjoy the Kevlar face of the Monarch Control. The 14 mm J2K Pro seems like it very closely fits what I look for in a paddle.
Really good and thorough review of these paddles. I bought the original J2K after seeing your video review. While I really like how it plays from control standpoint, I’ve kind of wished it had a little more power so I would be very interested in the 14 mm J2K Pro.
I always hear about this brand when my fiance and his family are talking pickleball. From your video and others, I now understand why. Either version would do.
Thanks for the detailed and very informative reviews of the Honolulu J2 line of paddles. I currently play with the J2K 16mm and love the control and overall feel of the paddle. I’ve played with the B&B Filth and Spartus Apollo, but the J2K is definitely my favorite. I’m looking to evolve my game to be faster and more aggressive and I think the J2K Pro 14mm will help!
Thanks for the great video! I watched it three times!! 😊After thinking it over, I’ve decided I want the J2K 14mm. Because I already have the J2K 16mm, I want to try something new with the 14mm. Based on your video, it feels like the perfect paddle for me! 👍
@@MatthewKPickleball I used the GRUVN MUVN 13S. How would you compare the weave on the J2Q to the J2Ti? I remember you saying they weren’t sure about releasing it, only if you’re allowed to speak on it.
Always appreciate your reviews… The effort you put into your videos is tops… I have the J2K in 16mm and love it… I would love to level up my game with a little more pop and speed therefore my choice would be the 14mm pro version…
I think I’d like the non-pro J2K for a little bit of extra forgiveness. Thanks for the review and giveaway! I’ve played with the Ruby almost all year. I think this would be a good upgrade.
I think the J2K 14mm non pro would be my choice. You describe it as more of a niche paddle, but I'm not sure I'd be able to control the extra pop that the pro version delivers.
I think I'd choose the non pro J2K 14mm because I imagine it to be similar to the 16mm. I haven't seen a J2K Pro yet. But, as your other video mentioned, it seems like a sleeper paddle too!
I’m more interested in the J2K Pro version of the 14mm. I’m leaning into the power game more and would like to see how I play with a more powerful all court paddle.

J2K Pro 14mm, just won my first silver in a men’s advance tournament with the 16mm so want to compare the 14mm!
Congrats!!!
I'd love the J2K normal 14mm. Seems right up my alley. Fast and light with room to customize.
I bought the 14 mm J2K about a month ago and wow, absolutely great….spin is amazing, control is fantastic, and power is always on tap when needed , such as drives and overhead kills!
Your analysis on each paddle is awesome…..thank you…that J2K pro with extra firepower sounds like a beast….
🙏
How does the Spartus Olympus compare to J2K's two 14 mm offerings? More like the Pro or regular version?
Will be hitting with that one soon. A bit behind!
This is my favorite paddle series of the year so far as well! I love the J 2K paddle and I would love to try the 14 mm version of it!
J2K Pro 14mm 😊 I want to be the speed demon
I am going to try out the 14 pro because I feel I am going to love how it meshes with my style. Thanks.
Love the explanation on the paddles!
Glad you liked it! I know it was a lot!
J2K 16 MM has been my main for about 4-5 months - Excellent control paddle with a FIRM feel ...the J2TI is a bit more poppy and has slightly less control at the kitchen......I would be interested to test out the J2K- 14MM......Keep up the great reviews Matt K......
Thank you! And I like the word “firm” you used to describe the feel. I think I’m gonna steal that!
J2K 14mm. I’m still learning!
I'm here for the aggression and power of the Pro! Sounds like I'm going to love it once I dial in the poppiness.
Thanks for the review and comparisons, liking the J2K Pro 14mm.
Five J2K options! Wow! Kudos to Honolulu Pickleball for continuing to push the paddle envelope. And praise to you for helping us make some sense of it all.
I know! It’s a little crazy keeping straight! 🤪
Awesome video man. I’m excited with the work that Honolulu is doing. I really want to try the j2k pro but I’m a 16 mm fan at heart!
I feel ya!
Very thorough breakdown. Thanks. I am leaning toward the 14mm J2K Pro.
🙏
Absolutely want the pro version! I played with my friends GRUVYN a while back and loved it, so the idea the pro 14 plays similarly is really exciting. Plus a more power version of the J2 is what I always said Honolulu needed
Thanks for this video. What a variety! Using the 16mm regular J2k but I would love to try the j2k pro 14mm. Looking for faster hand speed!
J2K 14m for me! Trying to go for faster hand speed. I’m excited to see what they come up with next.
I’ve been recommending the J2ti so much to people. Great sweet spot and touch. I’m just now getting comfortable with 14 mm and I think the j2k pro with a little more power would be the one I’d like to try
Thanks for the review. J2k pro 14 mm is the preference to really support that banger lifestyle
I will add I played with weight tape in various positions, and ended up with tape on the top corners ( slightly more to center than to the side…in 11 o’clock and 1 o’clock positions) gave me more power, while seemingly nothing given up in agility , or control.
That set-up makes sense to me. Just adding some more plow-through, and that shape is plenty stable out-of the-box.
Great review of the Honolulu paddles! I've been interested in the Honolulu J2K in 16mm for awhile, but the 13mm now has my interest.
Great content, as always. Nice to finally see some cuts to gameplay. I would love to try the J2K Pro 14mm.
Thank you! The lighting where I can record is awful, so trying to figure out something that works!
Great review! The entire J2 line is so good. Also, that is a cool shirt.
Thank you! It’s from Flamingo Pickleball. Should’ve said something about them in the vid. Promo code MATTHEWK will save you 15% on their site in case you want to check them out! bit.ly/4eCQ5JV

You’ll have to hide your next paddle from her! Haha
J2K has been on fire this year! Def interested in trying out the J2K Pro for the extra pop!
Thanks for the informative review. I am leaning toward the J2Ti
J2K 14mm seems interesting as long as you get a lot reps to control how it hits. But I like that it seems faster on hands.
Definitely feeling the standard j2k. Thank you for the breakdown
Awesome video. The Bzer Mini pickleball is interesting.
It’s probably my favorite accessory of the year! Love those things.
Another thorough and comprehensive description to help buyer best figure out which of Honolulu's J2K lineup would fit their game play style the best. This will remain a very helpful guide to buyers.
🙏🙏🙏
I tried a Ti and it felt nice and soft. Great Vid.
🙏
The original J2K 16 felt good right away for me without any modifications. I would like to see how the 14 plays.
Another great review, Matt. I'll be so happy to get my hand on the J2K pro 14mm as I need the power.
Good luck! 🙏
J2K 14mm is incredibly interesting. Would love to have this in my bag for some singles play or agressive doubles.
Every review for these 14mm J2K (Pro) have been great! I'd love to play with either, but if I had to choose, I love the look of Honolulu's Pro paddles
Thanks for the review and covering all the different J2K options. Lately been preferring the thinner paddles. Preference would be the J2k 14.
Great review! I really like the J2K Pro 14mm. I think having the option for extra power for serves, drives and putaways is where the game is moving.
Totally agree!
A few weeks ago one of the guys at the park let me try his J2K Pro 16mm for a few mins and it felt so good. I like what you say about the extra pop & crispier feel of the J2K Pro 14mm
Yeah, some of the best Honolulu has! Thank you for watching!
House of Dragon reference!!!! Good stuff I have been thinking about a J2K or J2TI
🐉
thanks for the review! J2K Pro 14mm looks like it would be fun!
J2K Pro review relates to my playstyle the most, would be very excited to try that out! Great video and reviews, will look into J2 products more!
Thank you!
Most excited to try out the 14 mm Pro to see how fast my game can be!
Thanks for reviewing them. I can generate my own power, so I would go for the regular J2K 14 over the Pro 14.
Great breakdown of all the paddles! I would love to play with the J2K Pro 14mm one day
🙏
Thanks for the review. Maybe this is time for me to move more to the power end of the sport.
Thanks for putting up those reviews! I’d lean towards the J2K pro version. Id want to work with a paddle with as much pop as I can handle
🙏
Like you mentioned, the J2K 14mm seems like more of a niche paddle, so I am going to go with the J2K Pro 14mm version for a more versatile paddle.
Based on your review, the Pro version 14mm makes more sense for my style. Thanks for the details.
🙏
I’ve been playing with the J2K and love it never tryed a 14 mm paddle but would like to try
I use mostly 14mm paddles and enjoy the Kevlar face of the Monarch Control. The 14 mm J2K Pro seems like it very closely fits what I look for in a paddle.
The j2Ti looks like a perfect blend of all court control and power
I've only tried 16 mm paddles so far, so the J2K 14mm seems to be an awesome one!
Really good and thorough review of these paddles. I bought the original J2K after seeing your video review. While I really like how it plays from control standpoint, I’ve kind of wished it had a little more power so I would be very interested in the 14 mm J2K Pro.
Thank you! Good luck! ☘️
Definitely would get the regular J2K of the 14mm options. Pretty solid soft game and want a little more pop at the line.
hyped for the j2k 14mm so i can play like quang duong
J2K 14mm because my soft game is dialed in, prefer faster hand battle hits and ready for the relative increase in power from my current Ronbus.
Great review and breakdown of the J2K series. The pro 14 mm would be nice to try
🙏
I love how the 16mm J2K plays but it is a bit heavy on the swing weight. 14mm seems to be perfect for firefights
Leaning towards the regular j2k 14mm. I think I'd prefer it over the pro version
J2k 14 mm would be a nice change of pace ! Would love to see if it holds up to paddle of the year!
I am going to enjoy that 14mm J2K Pro the best, if my calculations are correct. Thanks, man.
Thank you for clearing my thoughts, now I know what I want, J2Ti for control.
I always hear about this brand when my fiance and his family are talking pickleball. From your video and others, I now understand why. Either version would do.
🍀
Oh man wished the 16mm had more pop, excited to try the 14mm!
I’m thinking the pro would be a great addition to my bag.

@@MatthewKPickleballdid i win? 🤞🙏🏼👍🏼😊
I like the action footage added to your review. I need the paddle you were using for that backhand smash. Non pro version?
Thank you! What’s the time code, and I’ll see which one it was?
@@MatthewKPickleball the 4:42 mark
@@MikeGBEnt yes, I believe that was the non-pro!
Let’s go! More great choices from Honolulu. Thanks for another great review!
🙏
So many J2 options! Honolulu keeps putting out great paddles at competitive prices
Thanks for the great video!

J2K plays great. Wanting to try the 14mm j2k.
Also heard many great things about the j2ti!
The J2Ti is a LOT of fun!
J2k Pro 14mm on my interest list as I've played with the Gruvn for my speed game, as the J2Ti has been working wonders with my control game.
Which GRUVN do you play with? They’ve got some good paddles as well!
@@MatthewKPickleball I used the GRUVN MUVN 13S. How would you compare the weave on the J2Q to the J2Ti? I remember you saying they weren’t sure about releasing it, only if you’re allowed to speak on it.
The J2K Pro (14mm) seems like it could be an awesome weapon on the court. It appears to have good control, power, and maneuverability. Awesome paddle!
Great review. I currently in a market for a new paddle. Would love to try 16mm J2K . Thanks
I would like the regular J2K! Like the slightly increased pop but still controllable
Always appreciate your reviews… The effort you put into your videos is tops… I have the J2K in 16mm and love it… I would love to level up my game with a little more pop and speed therefore my choice would be the 14mm pro version…
Appreciate the kind words! 🙏
I think I’d like the non-pro J2K for a little bit of extra forgiveness. Thanks for the review and giveaway! I’ve played with the Ruby almost all year. I think this would be a good upgrade.
Most excited to try the J2K Pro in 14mm for the most power!
Definitely excited for the J2k 14mm for fast hands!
14mm J2K Pro looks amazing. The pop is calling my name.
Pumped to try the J2K pro 14 mm
I’ve been playing with the J2K for a hot minute and been waiting to get my hands on this one
J2K 14mm would be my pick as i have tried my friends 16mm and i think a little more pop would be a nice touch to my power game
14mm is interesting. Used 16mm but not yet a 14mm. I'd try the regular J2K 14mm.
I would prefer the J2k Pro 16mm coming from a Selkirk Invikta Power Air wanting more control but with a slight power.
With that tighter black weave, I would like the J2K 14mm Pro to turn it up a notch!
J2k Pro 14mm is insane of spin. But the pop is little risky and trade off of control. Considering to change 16mm is more suitable
Outstanding! That Pro's calling me. Please send soon😂 I like it because it says "Pro" on it, so it boosts my confidence and makes me look cooler🤪
😆
I'm excited for the OG J2k since it sounds like the most balanced and consistently shows up in top paddles of the year lists.
Recently got the J2TI, would be interested in trying the J2K Pro 14mm to see how much more power and speed I can get off of it
J2k 16mm paddle is amazing. Would love to try the 14mm j2k for more hands speed!
J2K 14mm will be nice in the kitchen line for fast hands 🙌🏾
Great vid. Love my J2k. Would love to try the 14mm pro to see how a Honolulu power paddle plays.
The 16mm j2k plays very well. Very curious to see how the 14mm version plays.
I’m more interested in the J2K Pro version of the 14mm. I’m leaning into the power game more and would like to see how I play with a more powerful all court paddle.
