- This was by far the most requested reaction to @KingGizzardAndTheLizardWizard I've gotten so I figured I had to oblige. Honestly though, I should be thanking you all because this one was a certified banger.

For me the drums led that whole dance brilliantly. An amazing intricate piece of art.
Cavs is a beast - his solo percussive album is excellent too, titled 'CAVS'.
The drummer is Michael "Cavs" Cavanagh. Man's a machine and a half, holds a double kick for insane amounts of time.
The other members are Lucas Harwood on bass, Stu Mackenzie as lead guitarist and vocalist (the one playing the blue samurai), Joey Walker second guitarist and backup-, sometimes main vocals as well as synth player (the guy with the stache, curls and blue shirt) and Cook "Cookie" Craig on 3rd guitar, synth and vocals (blonde guy with stache) And, well, you seem to already know Ambrose.
The drummer's name is Michael and he's a beast! Loving the Gizz reactions! The River would be good jazzy song from them. There's a live KEXP performance on youtube.
you have to watch work this time live at bonaroo
That whole show is incredible
I've watched a few of your gizz reactions and it's real fun, entertaining and educating on the technical side. I'm a longtime fan and the band (since 2018 - but it's like dog years with Gizz given how much the put out so i've been a fan for 35 years) and have been watching reactions for sometime, you've got good vibes my dudest. Glad you're doing all of Nonagon. My recommendations would be:
Grim Reaper (Live at Bonnaroo) for bad ass psychedelic legend of zelda beastie boys style rap
Work This Time (Live Bonaroo) for epic fucking solo from Joey (fender strap guy who is basically Santana/Gilmour/Page reincarnation).
Im In Your Mind Fuzz Suite (4 consecutive songs, which kicked off their song to song blend and the album that hooked me. Her and I Slow Jam 2 is iconic).
Sketches Brunskick East: from Tezeta to Spider and Me (their first Jazz stuff, pure creativity)
Infest The Rats Nest, whole album is the best way to listen, but Mars For The Rich or Hell if you had to choose.
I could go on... looking forward to the next!
Gizz feeling like Dog Years is a perfect way of putting it
WHEEEEEW asking for jazzy gizz this early on in you finding the band! Love it others are going to mention the river, but i gotta say the river has jazz flavoring. What you might be looking for is in a song called You can be your silhouette. Real swanky real smooth.
I would second this, you can be your silhouette is my favourite jazz song by them
If you check out the river make sure it's an evil river
jazzy gizz - the river or countdown are probably 2 of your best bets
The wheel is totally underrated
so sick!
as far as I am aware, both Stu (Yamaha) and Joey (Gibson SG) both use Fender amps. so I believe this is the reason for their heinous guitar straps
That guitar strap is also kind of a meme among guitarists. It's a cheap, durable strap that works well and can be found in basically any city. But once you know to look for it, you'll start seeing it everywhere.
I fucking love Lonely Steel Sheet Flyer. I can't be the only one
Yeah, that sentence made me pregnant too
I like the chilled vibe of your videos. Would be good to cut the intro stuff down a bit though and get into the main event!
